Did you really get out of SXX @ 41p? I thought I was lucky, pulling the handle @ 26p all those years ago...don't recall it going past 28 or 30p to be honest? Could be wrong.....

TBT- you highlight the biggest problem NM has right now, thank you for explaining it in more detail as I suspect many on here can't grasp the enormity of the problem.
It might also answer why the effing SP remains in the gutter.
If Nm is true to his word and people like Quady are right (god forbid) then little or no shareholder dilution will be forthcoming [leaving aside that he has already done this twice before even when he insists he won't dilute!].
So presumably the only remaining collateral is in equity. Could you simplify for those of us on here who don't understand mining royalties/offtakes blah blah.....what it would mean for SOLG going fwd, please?

Respect Himace/drusus for your patience. Himace you might have spent a small sum when you bought but your profit margin now must surely be in the 1000's? Drufus - presumably your profits to date have all but wiped out your losses over all these years and you are sleeping better!!
I can assure you - you are not alone when it comes to being knowledgeable with stock. It is a tangled web of manipulation, external forces, sentiment and luck that drives the SP. If you know something as an insider, you end up in prison, if you use charts, candlesticks and shoulders, you end up in a mad house and if you do due dilligence you might get your money back!
You know what they say investing on the stock market don't you?
How do you end up with a million? Start with two million!
Occasionally stock like GGP comes along and solves the problem for some. But mostly, Joe average makes just enough to make life comfortable.
It's the taking part that counts (isn't it?????) Heh heh.

The list you provided is not a unanimous Yes to each, that's for sure. We all now know that NM tells porkies (dilution) and going to production (if the price is right I'll consider selling).

But time for you to answer a question Quady:

Since the onset of (first) the resentment by Ecuadorian locals against mining (last year) and further deterioration due to Covid (this year), sent the SP well south...... and assuming the answers to all your questions are a resounding 'yes'..... why the fluck hasn't this damn SP rebounded and moved north?
Somethings afoot (and it's not 12 inches).

Crikey Drusus...10 years! How much was the SP then!!!! I guess you are a very very happy guy with 5+ mil shares now.
It's ironic, over on SOLG people are moaning (including me) that it is taking forever and a day to shift but here ...a lot seems to have happened in a very small time frame (the last year), by comparison.
Maybe a lesson to take back to SOLG.
Your expectations may be a little high, may I suggest, but your enthusiasm and staying power is to be admired. GL.

I said "currently" toxic. we all know it will come good again but 'when' is the question.
In answer to the last part of your question L2 is simple - the majors bought in at that stage because they thought they could apply their standard tactics in gobbling up minnows such as SOLG, at a time to suit them. Trouble is....this minnow has stuck in their throats and they (I say they...BHP have cleverly remained quiet on this subject) don't like it one bit. NCM have thrown their toys out the cot and BHP are probably regrouping.
No-one can seriously believe that two of the biggest miners on earth have bought into SOLG just to be part of the "journey", can they.......seriously? FFS. They are here for one of two reasons: Eat SOLG alive....or....become the majority holding in a JV.

L2: frustrating is not the word! But it begs the question WHY is this stock stuck in first gear?

Perhaps the following are some of the factors (not in any particular order):
1. The market don't think/like NM taking this to production 'alone'. (Because they think it highly unlikely he can fund it).
2. The find is in Ecuador.
3. NM 'appears' to have ostracized atleast one maybe two majors by accepting an alternative funding stream.
4. CGP are holding the stock back.

Adding them all together - makes this stock, currently - toxic...

This chain of events needs to be broken (and soon).

Hundreds on GGP (including me) making shed loads of (paper) money, literally 'overnight' by comparison........this stock getting decidedly whiffy.

FFS please let's hope CGP and NCM get 31% between them and their mates and vote the old duffer out so that SOLG can expedite this process and we can all walk into the sunset before we have to be pushed in a wheelchair instead :)
