I apologise on behalf of those on here who "shoot newbies down" as you say. Unfortunately it's rife everywhere on any forum on any subject if one doesn't "toe the party line". It is particularly discernable where money is involved and where certain individuals have overstretched their finances in the hope that they will soon become rich! There are a handful of them on this particular site and the more vociferous tend to bias towards insults and dergatory comments. They are unable to remain civil because they are irritable and nervous about the outcome.
Ask away - any questions you have and as long as they are genuine and not trolling. I am sure the more affable amongst posters will come to your aid. Enjoy the ride!

Face facts though - we still have the have's and have nots here....those still gaggging for riches so badly, they are treating this like a religion and putting their house on it......this is why they can't afford to sell @ 50p, or rather.........think that hanging on for another effing 5 years, they might strike gold (excuse the pun). It must be a fantastic feeling, knowing that your family are safe and you have everything to play for and nothing to lose.
I passed the point of skimming off the top to recoup my investment and have allowed the stash to stay in the pot until Gervaise sells GGP, I suspect...which hopefully will be within the next 12-18 months.

To give the CGP counter bid gravitas, I suspect they believe they have in their possession, "inside knowledge" that SOLG is being bid for. Their 'accusations' are too dergoatory otherwise. So maybe there is something afoot behind the scenes in solg towers and NM is trying to supress it until the time is right but CGP want the news out now???

I, like you want SOLG sold off - ASAP and if it means getting rid of noddy mather now - great....anything over 50p and I'll snap their hand off. He's been dragging this on and on for too long now and all because he genuinely believes he is an embryo gold major. Yeah right Nick.....you'll be eaten alive before you dig the first sod.

It depends what would happen to you and your dependents if your "all in one basket" did go south, I guess. It happens a lot on AIM, too. Several on here have been burned by SXX and others, I'm sure.
I know of one guy on SOLG who has put his and his wifes entire SIPP's and all their savings into the company.

Makes the mind boggle if it turned ti t s up.
My mantra (and it has been sorely tested here @ GGP!) is spread my bets.....atleast then, I can sleep at night.

I'm not ****ging GGP off. Far from it. I'm fully invested.
I'm not deramping it.
I was simply trying to discuss the value of its SP currently.
Can someone tell me how Numis concluded the SP is worth 15p?
Can someone tell me what GGP is worth currently - before we actually know how much gold is down there?
[I'm not talking about AISC, I'm talking about inferred value].
What exactly have I said or done to upset anyone?
I'm keen to learn alternative view points.

I am not deramping, I am a LTH. I was simply trying to untangle the value of the SP before a MRE and after. The AISC is deployed after the quantity of the mineral is known. Calculations can then begin to determine how much it will cost to get the stuff out of the ground and sell to market. Before any MRE's, IE......when the volume and its value is not confirmed or is "inferred", the market assumes a variable rate historically, which today is between $150 - $200 / Oz.
I am surpirsed die hard posters still confuse the two.
TomE - if you can't be bothered to refer to previous posts and simply want to jump in when you feel like it and ask questions which have already been aswered - try and atleast keep it civil will you?

In summary - |I have not deramped GGP or SOLG. I am trying to highlight why the stock(s) are perceived to be either under or over valued at todays current price.

I apologise if I am making anyone uneasy. That is not my intention. I, like nearly all of you wish GGP every success and all the 'news' surrounding this discoverer is very uplifting and promising.

But I must address the issue of market price once and for all, in general and then I'll leave well alone:
If we assume the "inferred value" for gold underground (with NO confirmed volumes) is currently $200/Oz (and that is being generous) and we assume there are 5 mil Oz sitting @ Hav.
That makes the value of the mine (at this stage): $1 billion. GGP own 25% of that: $250k.
4 billion shares. SP should therefore be: 6.25p.
20Mil Oz: 25p/share.
The markets are betting on there being 10Mil Oz. minimum. Lets hope so, eh?

Meanwhile another company over on the other side of the world with PROVEN assets of 23 Mil Oz, is vastly underpriced: SOLG. NPV: $4.6Bn. 2.5Bn shares. SP should be: $1.85. Currently 20p ish.
I am sure it will all work out in the end.

Aurora: WRT the RNS you talk about. They are spectacular results and one hopes and prays that projections reflect a big finding in due course.
However, the RNS doesn't give you quantity overall.
Where in the RNS does it say what the amount of gold is?
All I am saying is that the rating afforded this company ...on sampling results and hearsay, is off the clock. Because at this moment in time, GGP has nothing to show for it.
[It may/should/will do after the MRE but until then it is massively overvalued.

I am a believer. I listen to the interviews, watch the vids, read the posts and DYOR. I genuinely think we are sitting on a major find (not sure about a Tier 1, but a major find).
But try and make sense of the current SP.........it suggests a minimum of 10 mil Oz down under.
Until that is PROVEN (in the MRE), there might be less. If so, this stock will crash and burn, like the majority of AIM stocks.
We are currently priced in on hearsay and nothing else. I genuinely believe there is more than 10mil down there but that's not what this conversation is about (from quitefrankly). It's about whether the current SP reflects the true value of GGP as it stands today. And it does not.....no way!

I am a LTH of GGP. Having said that, does one consider May2019, long term??
Suffice to say, I am far from deramping. Everyone who has a basic understanding of the markets and of this stock will understand that CURRENTLY, the market value of this stock is based on rhetoric. There have been no actual firm recorded resource estimates (that I am aware of). A maiden resource is by definition an INITIAL assessment of what is 'down under'.
So the SP is based on fresh air - theoretically.
NOW - comments (and activities in particular) by interested and experienced parties like GH, NCM et al, suggest that something BIG is brewing.....the rest is smoke and mirrors.
Is there 5Mil Oz or 30Mil oz underfoot??? Can you answer that CB?
No, you can't because other than those interested parties....NO-ONE knows.........yet.
On July 23rd - the cat is out of the bag and perhaps then we might see true value of this stock and I for one......................believe it will be substantial.
In summary...12p as an SP for a company that has nothing to show for it (YET) is ridiculous but only a symptom of hysteria and AIM histrionics.
