If you genuinely believe all exchange platforms are corrupt, then why bother investing. I can assure the ASX is a LOT more respectable than the AiM and shorting if and when it goes on - acts as the lubricant sometimes on some of these platforms. S wisen up when it comes to the corruption issue.

Finally "Simply Wall Street" - not worth the paper they are printed on. Made up on the day by bots scraping the net and pulling news together to attract readers attention. I'm wondering - is S and S for you?

You're absolutely right - it's impossible for all the index trackers to accumulate "overnight". If stock is unavailable in quantity - then it's a slow burn to accumulate - could take weeks even months but they will persist.

Yes, I know, it's late......but......

Some passive funds which "track" the asx200, are mandated in their fund documentation to buy newcomers - that is how they 'track' the fund.

They have no choice. Loads voluntarily do it but some are legally required to do it SAS.........sorry.

Unfortunately Rich - this forum has been destroyed by peeps like bumsniffer et al.

And what with the declining SP on and off since 2013 when I joined the forum, I lost all interest in this stock.

Popped in recently to see the same old jaded names saying the same old stuff - like a tape spooling.

Some good peeps but now overshadowed by depressing posters.

With luck this company will sell to the chinese and shortly. And I'll get my money back. I got the feeling Dan Slobovan V is also sounding jaded and wants to flog this dead horse of a stock mainly because of the intransigence of the Ecuadorian government who are up to their eyeballs in corruption and violence (bit like bumsniffer!).

It can only be the chinese who take this to production - they have ways and means of looking after themselves in this regard, methinks.

I don't post here much anymore - mainly because of that caustic amoeba Slug still present.

Having listened to Dan K (Slobodan). I get the feeling he is leaning more towards an M&A event as opposed to going to production. He mentions that his colleagues in the office get nervous/anxious even at 2028/9 being the year of production which tells me we are a long long way off yet.

He was a bit 'iffy' about finding the cash to support this option (production) - didn't leave me with a feeling of confidence.

He was also 'iffy' about whether the open pit could be economical.

Overall nothing 'certain' - no promises.....all "hopefully" and "we're hoping to"..........

If I was a betting man, I'd say they are streamlining operations to make the company more attractive to outsiders. And I am all for that if the price is right. Been in this far too long and having slug trash all means of communication on this forum with his gutteral comments and threats of violence as a solution to everything (thank goodness he isn't some poor childs father) - I want out and as far away from him and Solg sooner rather than later. It's become a drag rather than a dream.

In summary - unless there is M and A activity here - the company will limp along until it runs out of money and is swallowed by one of its larger shareholders for peanuts.

Just to be clear for those who aren't too sure what is going on currently:

GGP has formally been admitted into the ASX 200 and 300 as of today. Trading in this stock on those platforms begins in earnest on the 22nd September 2025. ETF's / Index's / II's need to buy approximately £80m of stock in GGP as soon as possible by or around that date to allow thier platforms to reflect their portfolios accurately. Obviously they need to persuade existing shareholders to part with their stock to achieve this aim.

The SP 'normally' reflects this rush for stock.

If we are successful gaining entry into the ASX200 on Friday, we're looking at up to £80m of forced buying by the ETF's and II's etc.

4% of the company snapped up in weeks.
