May I enter a plea for help? As has been well covered in this forum, it would appear that lots of us are still having problems getting the 2017 Options - to which we are entitled - credited to our share accounts. Time is running out before they expire - despite the fact that we have already paid for them! GeorgeZibbos reported last week that he, at least, has put the required funds into his account with Halifax, as have I with Barclays.
Others have said that they, too, have experienced the same problem, and this is just those of us in this forum. For all we know, there could be other small investors similarly banging their heads against the same brick wall.
George's tale is the same as mine, ie continually being fobbed off with an 'explanation' that our brokers need some kind of certification from the company's registrars. This is exactly what I have been told for the best part of two years!! What makes this even more outrageous now is the fact that both Barclays and Halifax have actually taken our money.
Since the allegation involves the registrars, here is the plea. I am not able to get to the AGM myself, so may I please ask if someone who is going could most kindly take this matter up with the company on behalf of who-knows-how-many loyal LTHs who are being denied the Options to which they are entitled, and ask just What the Hell is going on?
