Mr Big, being a newcomer, was clearly nonplussed by the sight of the crazed Lady Hermione. So it fell to my dear father, Mr Keeper, and Mr Patel to guide the poor, deranged woman back to the safety of the asylum.

Yes, hillybilly1, there's a very rough rule of thumb. If a board which has historically had maybe no more than two or three posts a week suddenly explodes with several hundred in an hour, you'd better wave the holy cross and hide behind the sofa.

Thank you for the compliment, glen. I'm not all that wise, just been round the block a bit. I was somewhat amused by yesterday's fireworks. Why an sp should rise 100% on sampling results - however excellent - defies all logic. We both know full well that sampling and actually digging the stuff out of the ground, wrapping it up in cling film and delivering it to a jeweller in return for hard dosh are two different things - and several years apart! Very wise words, Agentmahome. I got caught on a spike in SGZ many, years ago, the equivalent of a £6 sp (before consolidation). They're now around 50p. But as a LTH and judicious averaging down over the years, that is no longer a disaster. All things come...

The answer is simple, isn't it? We both know it, Phoebus. ARK is where the daytime fun boys have gone today. Tomorrow it will be somewhere else. Nothing to do with fundamentals at all. Which is why I am in ERIS for the long-term, as I have been with SGZ. Daytime fun is not my game. But each to their own.

I'm also in here because they are in Scotland. Same with SGZ, where I've been for about 10 years. I know one shouldn't invest on sentiment, but I like the idea of contributing something to the economy.
