I'm afraid to say, BlakeneyP and baz that if I could go back ten years I too would say No. In terms of my wherewithal - which is only a teeny-weeny fraction of NLR's - I have a fairly substantial stake in here which, after ten years, has so far produced about as much as if the same amount had been in an instant access savings account.

I've often wondered about NLR's real take on things. He has seemingly been resolute in his belief in the company over many years and has taken a relaxed and long-term view of its future. But it must be nice to be in a position in which you can be truly sanguine about your investment being worth about £25million less than it was a few weeks ago.
