I have to admit to having been spiked on this one, the first time I have fallen into this trap in 10 years, because I thought I'd got older and wiser. It would be nice to think that this isn't going to evaporate to nothing, because I don't think I've seen more than 10 minutes of blue ever since stumbling in here. Oh well, another 10 years' worth of useful experience.

Absolutely, HH and BP, the thing that has alleviated the tedium of waiting 10 years for this to come good has been the camaraderie and gentle humour of what BP calls "this unique board". I too dread the day when we small band of quite screwball long-term friends are swamped by the name-calling, at times quite vicious, day traders.

Good to hear that Sheila Fleet appears to be keeping faith. It was something that had crossed my mind after the recent morale-busting RNSs. We have, not unnaturally, been focusing on ourselves as investors in this disappointment, but I was wondering how relaxed the company's actual customers have been at the non-existence of any product so far.

I don't do Twitter myself, TB1872, but I'm heartened if the new regime is exploiting all available media to keep in the limelight. In the past communications from SGZ have been not greatly different than the days when you had to wait for a sailing ship to arrive with news from afar.

As someone mentioned earlier, one can infer that NLR has done a bit of whip-cracking here. We discussed his unwaning support a couple of weeks back and the confidence that his long-term vision should give to we humbler investors. But even so... there must come a point (which would appear to have been reached) at which even someone with a relaxed approach in the Val Doonican class would say something other than "Oh, well, a few more millions wiped off my wad today. Hey, ho". Let's hope we've got the right team in place now. And let's hope they don't subscribe to the Trappist Monk School of PR.

When you say pedigree, I'll tell you something funny, Samson. I always come on here late, being retired, so when I did do so this morning and read that Mr Philip Day had been appointed the new CEO, my first reaction was "Oh Christ! Not the Edinburgh Woollen Mill bloke!" :)

From what I've seen of AIM in the past, Eck, restoring credibility with the market is a thousand times more difficult than any operational issues, in whatever sector the company performs. The AIM herd are constantly looking for the next 'flavour of the month', except that 'month' is way beyond their span of attention, which often doesn't even survive half-an-hour. Once you've acquired a reputation for having a sour flavour it's very difficult to get anyone to want to taste you again.

I'm looking on the bright side. Mr Smiley Face, me. Only ANOTHER ten years, think of it, and by then Ms Sturgeon might have gone so far as to allow us to go outside as far as the wheelie bin :)
