Winter this year will be the biggest winter schedule by a very big margin.

Easyjet has launched more than 100 new routes so far. The last release is 27 new routes from France.

Easyjet has filled the Bordeaux slack after Ryanair pulled out. Some of the routes suggest that easyJet holidays may be moving into the french market with winter sun favourites added. It's not a big leap to apply the holiday business model to those flights. Of course the hotel partners are updated about these things.

Easyjet are moving in on ryanair on many routes including Luton to Malta starting in December for the holiday business.

Easyjet see a lot of potential in France and Germany. Whilst they remain mostly a North South carrier they are now broadening their offering.

We'll see a period of decline at Ryanair and that won't reverse until O'Leary goes.

If they have other news then the final results is the perfect time but that has nothing to do with the Q4 update.

The Q4 performance will be the highest single quarter profit ever.

They have released a Q4 trading update in the first half of October every year since 2015. In 2015 and before they were issuing monthly passenger stats.

It's a very strange situation to introduce an undisclosed change now. It's never been this late and they have never been into final results without informing the market guidance before.

Strong numbers could make pay negotiations more difficult but beyond that it makes no sense.

The facts are for every year so far they have given a Q4 update so why not this year.

It's overdue but it will be released for sure. Why would they change now.

7am tomorrow morning is prime time for the Q4 update. It's late this year which maybe due to the volume of holiday business. By the last 5 years dates it's now very late.

The numbers will be very strong in my opinion.

Despite the unsettled weather we are still over 90% occupancy which is madness outside of the UK school holidays.

Hopefully we hear tomorrow.

So every year the Q4 trading update is in October. The last 5 years between the 8th and 13th October. It will be in the next few trading days. It's never in the financial calendar and it contains no precise figures just a range.

They just always have done. These are not Q4 results. The Q4 trading update will provide a range that they expect Q4:to be within.

It could be that they are waiting on something else to release with it. Who knows

Beo any softening is across the whole market. Easyjet are not the whole market. They are taking market share from others. That's absolutely clear.

How do they grow from 4% to 25% in one step. This year they will jump from 4-6/7%.

They can grow to around 25% on the disclosed fleet increases. You need to remember that the holiday volume is growing but so are the seats flown and the result is a %.

Demand has to build. It's massively increased on 23 and at this point ryanair would just make it cheaper but easyJet are not in that game.

You are not understanding the model and the impact of the high margin holiday business which is where people head when they want certainty over their spend.

Easyjet has redundant capacity over the winter despite 25 being the biggest winter schedule ever.

Easyjet are running more long distance high value services than ever this winter and many of those are packages especially Egypt. These routes are well suited to the new aircraft and the margins will be strong. Fares already over £250 one way bare fare.

As a shareholder I don't give any significance to the BoE rates. I speak to real people many from the UK, many of those on easyjet holidays and I can tell you the worse the UK situation the more they want their holidays.

People are more careful but easyJet has the answers to the problem with the completely flexible packages. More 5 day holidays than ever this year. The average is around 8 days. The long stayers from the UK are all now limited by the 90 Brexit restrictions so it's no longer possible to come from Halloween to Easter like they did before.

In 2024 we saw more Scandinavian guests than ever before and lots of Ukrainian.

We were using the industry generated figures for package and hotel rates for years but 2 years ago we started on a package that samples a basket of airlines over like for like routes. Effectively it makes multiple price calls on many dates and routes then compares the data.

The product we get breaks each day down for 12 months ahead. This is used to identify events (like a concert, football or marathon) where bookings are high. Here we may push our prices anticipating demand. It also identifies the dates that we bid for easyJet package sales. These are the lower fare times or opportunities because it means a more competitive package.

I can clearly see how it's going for the Iberian peninsula and whilst long range is too early to tell I see the demand clearly until Easter.

Beo easyjet are not. Currently they are 8% above last year.

In reality the drop in air fares at the end of the summer is completely normal. They fell more than normal because in the peak time they were higher than normal.

It's ridiculous including air fares in these calculations as they are constantly moving on an hourly basis and are determined by demand. Summer demand was a record high.

Demand for travel to the regions that I have visibility over is strong. Summer in the Iberia came to an abrupt halt with a week of heavy rain but will be back on in a few days. Our bookings until Christmas are strong and March through Easter are well ahead of last year which was itself very good. 2024 will be our best year since formation in 2002.

Industry projections for summer 25 are well up. We are adding 490 extra units across 4 hotels and looking at other options for acquisition.

Lower inflation and interest rates means more money in the pocket. Yes it's an illusion but it's good news for us

However if you look at the forward prices you'll see that the prices are strong.

Certainly they are very strong on the north south routes and industry projections are supporting a very robust 25. Easyjet especially are very well placed to maximise profit.

The oil price is favourable and forward hedged jet fuel has been consistently dropping.
