The shorters will get burned as low oil prices and a bumper summer weighs on the share price.

When the shorters are ready they can buy those shares back at higher prices. Losers.

I am not concerned, shorters get it wrong all the time. The chart has some up so the shorters expect some down.

The business is booming right now but the market won't respond until it's in black and white. Zero speculative interest or value in the share price which is in my opinion ridiculous.

Given the transformation of the business the share price has shown no value for the holiday business and that's not sustainable. Ultimately the growth in the airline is solid but modest the growth in the holiday business is sustainable for years ahead and dominant. Yet the market ignores this asset.

The next news will update on Q4 and we can expect substantial profit from a record busting summer up 10%+ on last year.

Easyjet holidays has definitely eaten into Jet2 but still a good performance. This looks very positive for easyJet.

They won't be far off £1bn H2 profit this year.

They were announced with the final results in November . This year it will be 27th November.

The trigger date may be in February and payment maybe in March as last year.

The dividend is paid on full year performance and the year hasn't finished. It will be announced in the full year results report. It's likely to be 20% of profit after tax. Probably paid February or March

2028 I think is likely. Potentially the holiday business could be accounting for 50% of that.

Easyjet are really the only success story of the European airlines. Jet2 are constrained by their high saturation of seats taken with holiday clients. Expansion means more aircraft and staff. Easyjet just switch out some of the 96% flight only seats. Increasing profit per seat X10 for no further investment.

Ryanair has a business model based purely on price and I think people are sick of it.

Wizz are unable to service even their home country as far as expansion goes. easyJet just launched Hungary to Paris and Lyon, unopposed routes.

I am not surprised that wizz and ryanair hit record numbers. Easyjet will too. The summer has been crazy in Southern Europe.

The exodus is almost done but now we have those avoiding the school holidays to see us through until November when the pensioners come to winter over on their 90 day post Brexit allowance.

Not true. Max 10 deliveries were only scheduled to arrive in small numbers initially from 2027. The "game changer" or name changer as it actually is has just 9 more seats than the 737 next gen. The bulk of their near term fleet expansion provides less than 5% additional seating.

The step up for easyJet however is from in many cases the A319 156 seats to 186 on the A320 or 235 on the A321. This is provides a substantial step up in capacity an aircraft with similar operating costs and substantially reduced technical support requirements.

Ryanair were planning to add more aircraft, easyJet are adding more aircraft with much more capacity.

183m people with no choice from their local airport. Certainly in the UK that's no longer the case. Those near Stansted to east and south now have Southend easyjet. Those north of Luton now have Birmingham. Especially true of the millions from Watford to Bletchley Milton Keynes who can now use Birmingham international direct rail link for easyJet Birmingham.

That 183m will be nibbled away over the next few years. A 5% load drop for Ryanair

can result in a 50% cut in profits.

I don't think that ryanair are doing much right at all and their catchment will only get smaller. They are not getting bigger aircraft, I can see why.

Stumpy Ryanair has a long and messy history of unhappy customers and poor customer service. Many comments from O'Leary that are very clear about how he views his customers. Until ryanair get rid of O'Leary and build some trust very few people will trust them with their holidays.

I don't know about other hotels but we won't be dealing with Ryanair as they don't align with our standards . A complete change of attitude is needed.

It looks like ryanair are in some trouble with their product. I think the market moved on whilst O'Leary thought he was the market.

He thought that people would always use them because they are the cheapest.

The reality is that other things do matter. Convenience of departure airport is the biggest factor, departure time, and other factors like friendliness and feeling good about the experience.

Easyjet has it right in my opinion.

It's necessary to understand that this share doesn't respond to progress in business.

The progress commercially may dictate a future trend but any immediate benefit from better than generally expected performance will just provide an opportunity for traders to take profits.

Largely the situation is managed by manipulation from a couple of sources.

If it opens down because of substantial premarket positions algorithms are tripped. The human aspect of fear and greed has very little influence now.

Easyjet are creating routes Budapest to Lyon and Paris. This really brings home situation for wizz who can't connect these major cities. Easyjet step up as they have the capacity and take the opportunity.

I was at Málaga airport this morning from Barcelona on Vueling and it was probably beyond capacity. One or two empty seats on the plane but they could have been no shows.

I have seen Málaga busy this year but never like this
