Yesterdays continuation of events in the middle east was well overdone. I took a few more for my collection.

It's simply an economic issue for Israel. They spend 20 x more shooting down a missile than the missile costs. This is not a sustainable situation for Israel.

Iran are estimated to have over 3000 ballistic missiles. Iron Dome is ineffective against them and that's where Israel has made their major investment as that was their daily risk from the short range missiles from Gaza and southern Lebanon.

There's no information about the resources in hand for Israel over long range interceptors.

I rather suspect that Iran could build as many cheap ballistics as they need. The interceptors are built by slow moving global defence giants and delivery is in years not months.

This means that this game won't last long.

Pokerchips. If you judge them by British values then they appear to be bad news. However in the environment they are they have huge support. They have huge support because they fight the people who have murdered their loved ones and have stolen their homes. I don't support any terrorist groups but I definitely don't support western governments forcing the world to be like them.

The people of the middle east are very different, they have very different values. Not just religious but cultural and ethically.

I think that Israel are the problem here.

Hardly news. What do they expect when Israel steps into another Country. How would it be if the Israeli leaders were murdered and the neighbours entered Israel to kill more. I fail to understand the logic of any of this.

I can remember going to Israel with an Egyptian stamp in my passport and waiting hours for security checks. Israel is not somewhere that I would go again.

However the world is very accustomed to their aggression and largely it's oblivious to the situation.

The easyJet flights if there are any in the future are not for tourism and will always be at a substantial premium.

Even Egypt which will be one of the top winter destinations for easyJet holidays won't be affected at all. It borders Israel with hundreds of kms of nothing. Egypt are focused on attracting tourists and maintaining their border with Gaza.

It's clear that Israel is a threat to peace but they have the support of many powerful nations despite their murder.

The unpleasantness is contained to the "terrorist" or freedom fighting factions within the neighbours who stage attacks on Israel. These aren't governments or countries just issues those countries have failed to deal with.

Unfortunately Israel make the same mistake many has before them. They are recruiting generations against them through their murder. Nothing like killing your loved ones to generate hatred.

The SP is not crashing. It was up strongly last week and today it's down. If you don't know why maybe check out the BBC and see what's happening in the world.

Obviously it doesn't make any difference to easyJet operations or profit earned.

The share price goes up it goes down. It is not by any means crashing.

Invest hold 12 months plus and you'll do very nicely

Easyjet went into Q4 at minus £114m. Q4 I expect profit £720m to £740m so the FY around £610-620m.

In 2025 we'll see a much bigger Q1 schedule and crucially many more will be holiday seats where margins are typically 10 X flight only.

Make no mistake the airline in modest growth and the holiday business is is massive growth.

The last day of what will be the best Q4 ever for easyJet. We'll get the scores on the doors in 2 weeks but it's going to be huge.

I am hoping for £720m profit in Q4. I think that they will deliver.

The risk has been reducing as the quarter timed out now it's risk off completely.

Q1 will start strong with Southern Europe still in summer weather. Mijas Costa is as busy now as it was in August.

Jeffrey I don't see why not. £6 for the airline and £4 for the holiday business seems reasonable to me. In 3 years the holiday business will be more profitable than the airline in my opinion.

It's all down to the numbers. Near to £1bn profit H2 and a strong winter schedule will bring confidence to a valuation on its knees.

The share price has been ridiculous low and nothing to say that has to continue.

However the important information is that another week has gone by with minimal disruption and cancellations.

The factors affecting commercial performance directly impacts the profitability. The disruption and cancellations this quarter must be at a record low in a summer with record prices and record volume of service.

We can expect a very strong quarter to be reported in 3 weeks time.

H2 profitability will be towards £1bn but there's a chance that they could exceed by a substantial margin as there are several unknown factors.

I am not interested in what people thinks drives todays price or where the share price goes this week or next.

Jackiedab I hear all of that but you are just wrong.

The share price then and the market cap was for the airline. The current share price is for the airline and the holiday business.

I think that it will be 26/27 when the holiday profit exceeds the airline profit but it's coming.

The profit potential for the whole business is much higher. This year will be a record summer and a record holiday business profit. The share price is way behind and just ridiculous
