Poor results for wizz are exactly as expected. Commercially they have very few options. The lack of aircraft availability has meant that they can't maintain their schedule and any thoughts of swapping out routes to take advantage of the southern europe boom are Fantasyland.

I don't understand the strength in their share price.

The bulk of that was in the middle of the day a matched OTC trade. They did go on to market just transferred between parties

Eagle the suggestion that wizz has a new untaped market in Ukraine because trump won is ridiculous. Wizz has very limited opportunity with substantial limitations to access of aircraft and markets. They are poorly regarded in western Europe and have failed to breakout of their initial footprint.

trump isn't going to end the situation in the Ukraine and Ukrainians that are left will take decades to recover.

I think that of all the players Wizz are the worst placed.

It's not just the lack of aircraft availability or the very restricted market open to them there are many factors controlling their future.

I say it how I see it. That's not arrogant it's fact, it's how I see it. I am invested in easyjet and I have done that for a reason.

I am watching across the market and I see Ryanair and Wizz navigating into a restricted channel. They failed to evolve when easyJet did.

I see easyjet airlines making modest growth and easyJet holidays making massive growth. Wizz and ryanair do not have any options for adding value except more aircraft.

Wizz have nothing, it's a ridiculous idea.

The UK is well accustomed to failure and financial doom. I think that people look purely at their own situation whilst traders simply experience fear and greed.

Ultimately traders only control the minute, investors control the weeks, months and years ahead.

I see the share price currently as at least £2 below where it should be given the commercial success and the real commercial opportunity ahead.

I am not interested in the dividend. A share buyback I would like to see.

The difference goes much deeper than that.

Ryanair is in decline, maybe you don't like that. Easyjet are growing their holiday business rapidly. Maybe you don't like that.

Analysts are wrong about 50% of the time. I don't aspire to be one. I am just a humble exec of a hotel chain operating in Southern Europe. Nothing more. What do I know.

Maestro I think that we are in the early stages of a divergence.

Did they have to discount to fill the seats or was that O'Leary trying to control the other operators who didn't touch their prices from what I can see. Ryanair panicked and called it wrong. They are trying so hard to maintain load factor but actually it's not the most important factor. There's no point in a full aircraft at a price point that's unsustainable especially on non holiday flights where people don't tend to bring a 20kg check in bag.

They would do better to look at choice of departure airport and choice of departure times. Over time the appeal has been decreasing as others especially easyJet fill in the catchment gaps especially with Birmingham and Southend.

People only fly ryanair if they have no choice, years of abuse and rudeness are weighing on the performance.

It's not really the market that does that. Some may speculate that it's a reason for others to sell but in reality the noise traders generate within themselves is irrelevant. Looking for an opportunity to make 1% is not what most are interested in and as the story firms we see more holding to see how the story plays out.

Easyjet are in a huge growth phase and others will suffer. Easyjet have been well managed and positioned, then they were extremely fortunate to have the right aircraft and engines.

I expect the share price to increase substantially in the near future as the details emerge to support my view.

Easyjet have taken a big bite out of ryanair with the easyJet holidays product and expansion in choice of departure airports. Ryanair had the bulk of the DIY holiday business. The appeal of DIY has plummeted and easyJet holidays has picked up that opportunity.

Easyjet summer will be a record profit and they will book around £605m profit for the year.

I received a reply about the Q4 update, short and simple. I think that we'll be experiencing a new shareholder strategy moving forward. I am guessing to limit the opportunity for manipulation.

I wasn't expecting a reply and it didn't tell me much that I hadn't guessed already but it helps me to know that they see it too.

I suspect that it was move of a strategic move after what happened last year.

The update and the misrepresentation of the final results that briefly crashed the share price was an organised action where many sold on the false headline later removed or had stop losses triggered. These types of scams go almost unnoticed but I wonder if easyjet are actually reducing the opportunity for it this year.

The scam used those online "newspapers" to headline before the market opened that easyJet missed their guidance figure when actually they hit it dead on. They in fact missed the top range figure and exceeded the bottom splitting the range. The scammers used those online newspapers that regularly peddle nonsense about airlines targeting "Brits" with new rules.

Massive pre bell selling sent the price down on excellent results.

I bought but many were tricked.

They are definitely taking Jet2 customers because I am talking to people who have switched.

The reason is that they can set the duration of their holiday to fit their leave and their budget.

Like it or not, believe it or not easyJet are winning Jet2 customers. Especially from Birmingham but also other areas.

Jet2 are handicapped by their model with a high saturation of seats on holiday packages. It makes it very difficult to expand as they have to add additional aircraft and crew. Easyjet has a very low saturation and can very easily hit £500m a year over the next few years just from the holiday business without adding a single aircraft.

Jet2 are very exposed to even a small drop in demand because they advance purchase capacity with hotels. Given the benefits of being with easyjet hotels will be reluctant to discount much.

Easyjet holidays is a game changer for the hoteliers as for the first time near 100% occupancy is possible without discounting.

Why has it remained so low despite the strong commercial performance and substantial growth. Why has it remained so low whilst easyjet holidays grows in profit and reach.

Multiple reasons I suspect but ultimately none are going to change the commercial opportunity for rapid growth at the expense of the others players. Easyjet are taking Ryanair routes and squeezing their catchment. Easyjet are undermining the established markets of Jet2, TUI and the OTAs.

Inflexible. Easyjet has so many advantages that it's going to serious impact TUI.

I suspect it is because of what happened last year but we wait and see.

It's not affected my strategy. I am holding beyond the point at which there's acceptance that Easyjet is winning over ryanair. Easyjet are in strong growth and ryanair are just entering decline. Key events of the last few weeks underline that fact.

Profit before tax this year will be around £606m. We will have to wait on that but it's not an issue for me.

The price is where it is with war in the extreme east of Europe and in the middle East. I don't think that any possible escalation will have much of an impact. 20% either way is nothing on the journey.
