Strike I agree. The share price is ridiculous but slowly correcting.. £6-7 is a decent range in which to sit out the winter pending summer 25 news.

The winter especially Q1 which starts 1st October is a huge challenge for breakeven. Q2 will always be difficult in my opinion. Q3 and Q4 24 should produce around £960m profit but there's a real chance given the strong summer with minimal disruption that they could top £1bn in H2.

In less than 4 weeks we find out how Q4 went. It goes without saying that it will be another record breaking summer.

Any buoyancy coming from general positive demand is good news for the airline but ultimately it's the holiday business growth that should be the focus.

In 25 we'll see a much bigger winter timetable.

Already easyjet are leaning on hoteliers to bid up winter capacity.

We have a solid directly booked domestic trade over winter on long stays and many 89 day UK bookings. However we are filling the gaps with easyjet and really that's the beauty of the platform.

Spring 25 is already looking very positive for the Mijas Costa. Q4 into Q1 is looking good. I think H1 25 will show substantial improvement

Just ryanair discounting then. O'Leary again calls it completely wrong.

The way to look at it is more than 2% have been sold already so are in the price. In order to exit they will be bought again in the future.

I am never negative about shorts, shorters lose money every day. If 2% are short, even if that's actually 4% still 96% are positive about the business

Wizz have been down over the last two weeks, rightly so. It's just a relief rally.

Easyjet has consistently outperformed the others. It's just ebb and flow. Day to day is irrelevant

As we know easyjet are swapping small aircraft for bigger capacity aircraft so it's easy to see that they can increase customer numbers without doing anything different. easyJet can also increase revenue per head by selling more seats into the holiday business, ryanair are cannot.

Ok so assuming the load factor is very similar how do they increase the customers without increasing the number of flights. We already know that aircraft if they can get them add only a few seats.

So does a 10% increase in customers equal a 10% increase in flights.

Pokerchips that (+10%) is in +10% seats flown. It comes with associated costs and volume is only positive if each seat makes money. It's easy to add routes, it's difficult to add routes without compromising your existing product. Flying more people creates more costs not necessarily more profit. Ryanair are already too big. They need to first get the quality right.

Possibly but the quality of the commercial opportunity is what will drive easyJet and not ryanair, Wizz and others. Easyjet are in a unique position and are largely drifting with the trash.

Easyjet are unique because they have a rapidly growing holiday business and no technical aircraft issues to deal with.

That fact is not represented at all in the share price but it will be in the financial results.

I am not much interested in £5 it's stupid cheap I see no reason why this isn't £6.50-7 right now.

Yes it's one of the metrics that should be driving day to day movement. However largely now it's a very disconnected idea or fear that drives the share price.

Largely it's nonsense and has no connection to easyJet commercial performance.

What is important? Another high profit day gone in peak season with no major trauma. Another £9m in the profit side.

It will be the 11th or 14th October.

The slow compensation will be about additional incurred reasonable costs. Hotels, food and possibly taxis. These things take time and are an admin burden. They have the lost profit that is partially offset by extra bookings at premium rate on other flights. It's not much in the view of the network and well within the scope of any expected performance..

I think easyjet will exceed their expectations

It's irritating and has a limited impact given that it's 64 from 2000 flights. It's difficult at peak time to really do anything constructive with alternatives at short notice.

Any compensation will be a slow time process but 64 from 2000 is not a loser and can be absorbed in the expected % of disaster over the period.

Rather than a hit I am expecting less than budgeted cancellations and disruption that creates financial burden.

When projecting they will use an average model and I think that so far we are well below average.

I expect the holiday business to exceed the increased £180m profit guidance.
