If they wanted to update the market with trial updates then they could separately, so I don't think its that. They will i think talk about post update developments. maybe money is so tight they don't want to spend money on RNS's if they don't need to?

So i think it will be about the money, because more funds will be needed by Jan which in turn means an injection of funds really from any time now, but more usually 3-6 months before the deadline. So I think either a deal has in fact been done that CC has alluded to for a long time now, or there is some development with heights. (which could be done with both developments.) Or maybe the fabled ND listing is actually taking place rather than just talking about it.

If i hadn't already bought earlier I would be buying again today i think in front of this. Just my opinion dyor etc etc.

Well, I was not trying to make it personal chris, and I do fine. I didn't buy ODX or the one that used avct tech to detect covid in water, I forget their name, but plenty here did.

The knack is to minimise losses and maximise profit.

I dispair at this Chris, Its not the comparison as no 2 companies are the same, (which also transfers to comparing valuations of other companies to show what might AVCT be worth), the point is our lack of knowledge and the fact CEO's can and often are partial with the truth and any bad news. We had it with this very company.

And not for nothing given the history of this company it seems pretty arrogant to hold up AVCT as some sort of paragon of virtue given what went before and that many shareholders here have held longer under AS's reign than CC's.

Yes its a tricky game Fisherman, but not for nothing SNG when it collapsed was because this great trial it undertook to prove their tech was based on patients that were already under other medication and therefore the whole length of the trial and data/results were invalidated, only that was not made public until the end. How were shareholders to know?

Also AS with the non-antibody/antibody revelation shows imo, that it pays to be cautious on what CEO's say.

Harl was different, I based that on the premise that for political reasons, the govt would not let it go bust and therefore the risk reward was worth it. I was partially right in so far as the govt made sure another private (spanish) company would step in and therefore jobs would be protected, so a bit of a stitch up for shareholders. (Also there was completely misleading announcements from the CEO regarding funding).

But yes, its a tricky game which is why i respond to so many lop sided views here. We simply don't know whats going on. You take a stake but I find it almost laughable that so many post with such certainty when all will have had experiance of the polar opposite outcomes to their expectations.

MM, my advice would be at least prepare to be disappointed.

Regarding price, it has to be above where it is now so thats why i am buying.

My best guess it would be above. 45, so maybe .6 or a 3 bagger from here but it all depends on timing. If the SP starts to move with PI's getting on board then it might have to go higher.

Well, I don't run their company so i can't comment, but for those that don't like the principle, it is a very risky thing to put in a short as can be seen here, so it is never done lightly.

This is very odd. if you look at the history of RNS's there has been no (worthy) news for a very, very long time. No big orders, no tie ups, no nothing

Then we have this frankly completely bizarre continuing and clearly deliberate, of post and delete on linked in.

In my experience this is beyond extraordinary.

I am also very surprised that Shurter is putting up with this because it is deliberately unprofessional behaviour and is not fair to shareholders. It is not fair that maybe larger shareholders have different share-price moving info than others.

The complete refusal of CPX to update shareholders as to what is going on through the deliberate ignoring of requests via contacting the company either through email or other forms compounds this irresponsible behaviour.

This is a PLC, not a private company.

Assuming its not the biggest scam ever then my best guess is a take over is coming from Shurter as a fait accompli at a very low price.

The reason I think this is likely although I am fully clothed, is my arse hurts and that can only mean one thing.......

If it is 8% they may have a problem off-loading it.

If no big investor wants to take a stake you need an awful lot of PI's to step up to buy to allow an orderly transfer.

If the shorts panic ( and they probably won't, these aren't novices), and just wanted out then the SP would move up very strongly.

So, the shorts may well be in a bit of a bind if new news breaks, so if they think that is likely then they need to reduce as quickly as they can.

I have no idea why so many (on any BB) get so hot under the collar about ever even discussing taking profits. Profit is the name of the game.

And just for the record I said this was likely a retrace and if it was me I would wait for it to come down a bit before getting in.

The SP always has 2 options, all charts do is try to pick the most likely option when at certain significant points.

Its not about always being right, just being right more often than wrong. Its just an odds game, thats all
