BD.I don't remember saying that about anyone. And I did not report the thread.
But as I said in that thread I have fully aired (and then some) the other side of the coin on the boo debate. (Only to try and balance the pro side which often seemed to ignore the obvious elephant in the room.)
Also I have tried to pass on lessons that I have learned in trading that I think would be helpful to newbies.
Personally I have done very well out of Boo in terms of buying low and selling higher (not shorting).
I have no idea currently on where boo is going because I don't have a clear picture to what is currently going on and where it will eventually lead. When this is resolved I no doubt will look at it again some time. Right now, for me there are too many unknowns to make any sort of calculation. I think somebody said, buy now and come back in a few years and you will be sitting on a profit. Well, you could have said that 3 years ago and now look where we are, so that sort of advice always catches my attention, much to the annoyance of most here!
I, just for the record, never shorted, never had any intention of shorting boo (based on the same reason I'm not buying because I have no idea where this stock is going).

Bert: beginning of july EVE was about 1.5p current 4.5p now having been 7p in between. Conservative epectation of 7-10p plus in 6-12 months. I no loner have an interest (sold out at 6p)
Currently valued at just above the £9m cash in the bank. so great room for re-rating. But hey, stick to the one horse in town and keep flogging it until its dead.

Heres one for you KK (and body else),
Do you think that there will be now, extra costs on boo once all the extra governance costs and presumably higher costs of production through higher wages?
If so, how much? How will that affect overall profit margins? Will it effect them at all? And if not why not?
Do you think the rate growth will be affected at all under the current economic climate?
If you have no idea (or simply are just guessing), then how on earth can anyone here forecast the SP over the next 12 months?
Does everyone just fixate on the hourly SP here to make their long term forecasts?

KK, the positive news does not another person to tell everyone.
The problem here as I get evidence from your post is that no one wants to discuss the actual problem. Most here want to sweep it under the carpet and claim that it is nothing to do with boo, that it was all 3rd party suppliers of which boo has no involvement or liability. Which is not true or boo would not say it is going to make changes to its governance procedures.
I guess it will be stuck in a trading range until this is resolved and the final costs can be calculated. At that time the city can re-appraise Boo's valuation. Then the fundamentals can be -re-applied and longer term forecasts can be discussed.
I have no financial interest in Boo. The actual gains that are on offer with boo compared to the stocks I am in are not attractive to me.
And while you have all been here, stocks like G4M (online music retailer) EVE, (Online bed mattress), WOSG, (watch shops as well as online) , have all been soaring. The irony for me is that most here are myopically fixated on trying to get a 20-30% return over the next 6 months.
As growth stocks go, Boo's history is so so. (And over the last 3 years or so very poor indeed.)

See MM I think that's a little bit of the problem here (I get I can be seen as a pain, and that's ok, that's fine), buts HL's comments, not mine. The emotions run high here, but as I have tried to show, emotions in this game get in the way of good decision making. So reports that flag exactly why there are problems should be absorbed here and not dismissed by your (I have to say very gentle), attempt at shooting the messenger.

Reading the HL precis of Tuesdays share purchase maybe sheds light as to why the SP remains under pressure.
It seems to be largely ignored here in the sense that we mention it in posts but don't actually seem to accept that anything is really wrong.
HL:Press reports have said PwC stepped down because the big four accountant was concerned about governance at Boohoo, which has been rocked by revelations of poor treatment of workers at factories that make its clothes. An independent report commissioned by the company said the accusations were true....Boohoo has promised to overhaul its governance, purchasing and supply chain after the report by Alison Levitt QC said there were "endemic" failings at factories in Leicester.
So it seems to say that Boo did know about this. It was not just a factory thing completely outside of boo's control.
So my conclusion is that there could be a fine coming down the track to boo. And if I am right the city maybe wary of buying boo stock until the scale of the cost of this episode is more clearly known. reduced margins, fines, cost of extra governance etc.
As we all know the city does not like uncertainty.

For gods sake DNP I get exasperated at these pointless, never ending, stupid, infantile, inaccurate, hopeless, always wrong, baseless predictions that don't even have the accuracy of a bloody stopped clock!

and if it does DNP, what is the significance to you of that? What is the significance of 270p rather than 269p, or 271p? Will you be buying more or selling out on it achieving this landmark? Is it a breakout that confirms further gains and if so based on what? please don't tell me its a random number? I mean it can't be can it, not with all the posts and certain predictions you and peace have made over the last 30 minutes or so?

The funny thing is: Nothing has changed apart from an ok ish director share purchase. All the negativity and reasons for it that previously surrounded boo are still there.

Because arnie, in a BB of mostly BS, words matter, The word prediction implies previous knowledge and a well though out position leading to the prediction.
I think it was just a guess based on hope because the Sp was and had been tanking, or to put it another way, just yet another baseless ramp.
However it coincided with what happened which either means KK is astute, in which case she/he maybe should have their views listened to a bit more, but if it was just a stab in the dark guess, then perhaps the posts should just be ignored? Lots of newbies apparently here, and it might be helpful to then to know which it is.

KK, did you predict or guess or hope? I mean what was it based on for you to do it on the day the SP fell to its lowest point for some months?

just musing, but I wonder if the shorts have got any cards left to play? and if they do when do they play them?
Director share purchase has halted decline and given a small but notable lift to the SP. Do youi play another short card now to halt advance and resume negativity, or wait?
The next move could be the announcement of an auditor which would be another positive and then there could be further director share purchases to cement and increase advances.
if the shorters (and this just assuming they have anything left in their locker), wait until boo have exhausted their ammo then the stock would fall without reply, but it would be doing that from 300p plus position I guess, but then again that's kind of where this all started.
Possibly intriguing, more likely much more humdrum
