Yes Bruce I know the Nasdaq is an index, I know Aim is an index, I know BH is a stock.

Its just some here think the BH SP mirrors the movement on the Nasdaq. I was asking if there were any other shares they thought mirrored the Nasdaq, or maybe other indices here mirrored the Nasdaq. Or was it just BH alone that has this attribute.

But alas, no reply.

there was in fact very large volume that day when the SP fell due to the vaccine news and look where we are now over 4 months later:

No Matt, I do think manipulation goes on, wherever there is money there are nefarious deeds going on. But, for the most part the MM's do a good job and are, I think, accredited with more power than they have.

200p was a very clear support line. Lots of buyers who might want to buy AVCT would have waited, once the fall kept going, for that price, give or take.

Once it gets there then the MM's I think will push it a bit further to see who bites and to see if it triggers a load of further sells. It then gives them a heads up as to where the sentiment is. That's where the "manipulation" comes in.

So yes I think it happens around key points but neither on the scale or frequency some imagine nor the reasons they attribute to the MM's

As it is (and was mostly expected), it bounced off hard and fast proving that its a stronger support than before. Now the MM's have a better feel after the last few days of fairly heavy falls, where the SP is likely to trade between and for them to be able to make an orderly market.

The other point I would make is this. If anyone believes the market is so rigged, so dishonest, then why oh why, would you buy stocks in that market. Its like saying" I am going down to the local Casino, I know its as rigged as hell to the House, but I'm going anyway..." If you then lost your money who is to blame, the House or the fool that gambled there already knowing it was rigged??

Rookie, why would sellers get out now if very shortly it will be 7-8p? I just can't follow your logic?

I don't why some here get so protective of shareholders? No one got mugged off, the SP rose to a level that some decided to sell, the SP then fell to such a point where others thought it was worth buying and it went up.

This is gambling what ever you say, and some win, some lose, and some do both, but quite why there is always this conspiracy that every SP fall is a concocted scheme to fleece unsuspecting poor souls out of their hard earned is beyond me.

If people don't understand what they are doing when they start off in this merry go round then they will either learn pretty quick or go skint.

Nobody held a gun to their head to buy this (or any) stock.

yeah its funny how these terrible traders are scum, using charts and tea leaves and whatever to get in and out of shares, but LTH just do a bit as well, you know, not a lot, but why not.. sort of thing.....

200p is a very strong support. it would be bad if that went but as was more likely so far, it has held and the next target is back to around 244p

my guess would be that as the days pass, assuming 200p, sticks then there will be a move back to around 244p as early April comes into play.

Radds, I don't think it is doom & gloom, because I have thought for a little while that it would fall into April. That's not my point. AS needs to be better at communicating these "deadlines" to avoid all this unnecessary hoopla.

On the other hand Its quite a feat for AS to find a form of words that is seemingly so specific yet so ambiguously vague.

we can argue the toss as much as we like on what he meant on the date a milestone would be announced but clearly the fact that the SP has fallen (so far around 40% off its high), in the last few days suggests, the market generally expected news before now.

This is a recurring theme with AS now and I would like to say its got to stop but I guess it hasn't, he can do and say what he likes. However, I Imagine his larger shareholders will be as unimpressed as most of us here are with the mismanagement of the SP.

None of this angst, is or was necessary. Whether It is deliberate or unintended, the result is the same. Uncertainty.

The uncertainty it creates feeds into other timelines and projects and that is why it is more important than some here imagine.

You can make the argument, "either sell up or just shut up" but its the same people that say "do your research and you will see how great the potential of AVCT is and nothing has changed". This is simplistic and inaccurate.

Timing is everything. Where is waste water detection? where is Bams? where is saliva? Where is Cytiva? No explanation has been given for the absence of these expected products and tie ups. Then the "missed" deadlines that AS himself promotes do become important because it does casts a shadow on everything else AVCT are doing.

Based on all the irons in the fire I do expect this to be great company but a better and a more accurate explanation of where the company is including timelines, as it does grow, would be much appreciated by all I would think

why is that important PP? you are holding for the next 20 years.

Are you trying to reassure current holders not to sell if the SP does fall? Why would you do that? you are not trying to ramp the SP on a daily basis are you? (that would make no sense to a long term holder)

Chart-wise doesn't look much to stop it hitting around 200p now. It will be instructive to see if it goes that low though. I imagine there will be a lot of money waiting to buy in at around that level should it continue to slide but I would expect some will want to make sure they don't miss the "expected" bounce by getting in a bit earlier. My guess is anywhere between 205p-210p

the only problem I see with the valuation regarding Boo's growth, is: couldn't all of that been said 3 years ago? what was the SP then what is it now?

How has the SP performed over the last 12 months in mostly a total lockdown and much competition sidelined and new brands coming on stream?

I would expect BH to grow pretty well but I expected that over the last 2 sets of results but somehow due to various reasons they have not. And that was with everything going for them.

Now they will have extra headwinds but they do have more brands. (I am skeptical how strong these brands are however. There is a reason they went bust and that no one else wanted to buy them, or at least not more than BH offered which seemed pretty low to me for such "desirable" names.)

However, it remains to be seen how the "high street" reacts, how the online competition reacts and how margins are affected.

It also remains to see who takes over in the next few years as the founders retire.

To get the annual EPS growth it really does mean everything as to fall into place year after year after year and as I say the last 3 years have seen a very patchy SP growth, the individuals returns being absolutely dependent on where they bought in during the helter skelter ride that has been the BH SP.
