Ginge, a shortage of LFT's has not so far through the AVCT business channel resulted in RNS notable sales, so I am not sure the relevance of the remark. Likewise until we have HUA it simply rubs salt into the wound to keep saying what the demand is with no domestic product available.

As you know vegas, notwithstanding my general disappointment with our LFT, the TI was always the one global area that we could still have huge sales through.

It will be interesting now because we will be one of many tests available and from some big players too I imagine, so some folk might buy on a "trusted" brand name and not potentially trust the stats on our packet. (Hopefully thats when the marketing company show their worth.)

Still all to play for but I think its a higher risk than before when it felt AVCT were the one and only LFT player available.

Still too many unknowables, so we wait a bit longer.

It just depends (once we get HUA), whether or not the travel industry use us.

More likely imo, the TI could, as long as the individual uses a recognised LFT test they will accept it and not just use "their recommended test" per se. This then means we have to be on said list, but I assume we will be by default, having HUA.

Difficult to say how many will care about accuracy. (False positives will probably be the "headline" on the packet, because you don't want to miss your holiday on a test that says you have covid when you haven't.)

But if there is a "much of a muchness" about them then it will be about price.

Other than travel I am not sure where the market is now for LFT's. It depends if large events will insist on them. If it does then that will help obviously.

Ultimately it will depend also on how many test the public has to choose from and at what cost. Once we know that we should be able to have a stab at guessing sales numbers

it is disappointing that even now at what seems this late stage from our expectations of a year ago, we have little or no information on capacity, amount of business sales, when HUA will be granted or the profit margin.

We seem to have NDA's with Medusa, the Govt, (all govt's?), elite sports teams and big (international)business, restricting any info to help investors. Plus a marketing dept, that seems not to want to market the product.

Still, big week next week as Ophidian predicted within 10 days the SP would be 250p which would be by close of play Friday i think?

AS said nothing of the sort, if anything it read he was managing expectations that it was not around the corner.

So yes, he "hopes" its soon, but having flagged and emphasized how long it can be and not just months, or even many months, but many, many, many months which suggests to me its not imminent, (otherwise why make such a song and dance about how many, many, many months it takes under normal times and then reminds us all that "we are in the hands of the notified body at this point.".

To me ,imo, this simply strengthens the likelyhood of this not happening in the next few days as we are not in normal times and far from speeding things up , the opposite is happening ala NCYT said there were delays in getting tests pushed through by 6 months.

well monte, we have just scrapped a higher high today, but also it could be a double top so in any event we want Monday to finish higher than today 154p plus would be enough. So although it is at a bit of crossroads it looks more likely to go up than down.

If I am right then 160p-to 166p is the next area and I don't think getting to 160 ish from here in 5 trading days is the biggest ask in the world so by all means get the Ann Summers Xmas outfit booked and while you're at it, get something for the missus too.

Just so you can have ammunition that I am talking the price down so i make the poor inexperienced investor sell, and then somehow buy the very same shares they sold: This from oct 1st:
During the day I confirmed that I had made (several) buys/tops ups as I believe AVCT had bottomed out and that the most likely way was up from here (or there, as in yesterday) and its been up today giving more distance away from yesterdays low.
Currently (from a TA perspective) I am bullish.

We still need to break the elusive 140p barrier but if/when (but lets be positive and say when because I know we all believe in the power of positive thought over... well anything really.... here...), then I see 175-185p coming quite quickly thereafter.

That rally at the end keeps the trading range intact and it did not trigger the double top so all good.. (which is why I go by close of play figures and not intraday, too many false signals, imo).
Anyway, the first target to give a bit of breathing space is to close above 126p, that then sets up 140p as the next (big )target.
So if buyers were going to buy based on the chart, a close above 126p should bring in some fresh upward impetus.

Since this thread started the SP has fallen even though there are no green boxes.... OMG!!!! will you have to re-adjust your investing strategy?

I said around that time that we were missing the Mass testing boat. I said in march we would not have a test out until july because of the free tests that govt at the time were still buying from China.

Thats when the abuse here increased and the Troll label was used. Its been a systematic, targeted campaign to shut me up. there have been many attempts by some to simply report everything I post irrespective of its content, to have me banned.

Interspersed with my forward analysis, I gave form my TA perspective, how it looked to most likely to impact the SP, and also in that too, I have been broadly correct.

Are you seriously claiming that my "warnings" have caused the SP to fall from its ATH of 275p?

What I don't understand is that given (as it turns out) I have been more right than wrong over the SP moves over a long period, that this has put me in the Troll camp of untrusted liars to be ignored and filtered.

You have all done sterling work in marginalising my views. I think you can rest on your fat laurals and pat yourselves on the back for all the "help" you have been to those poor investors, this mythical bunch, who have never been seen, never have posted, and so far, no proof in their existence at all, that you have protected in watching their investment collapse when they could have sold many months ago and protected some of their capital.....

Lets try and start at least from a place where we can both agree:
This is an investment BB.
Share prices can go up or down.
People hold shares for different amounts of time some from a few months to many years. (Lets ignore traders fro now).
Some are very inexperienced.

Here is a scenario:
Inexperienced buyer bought shares based on the enthusiastic ramping here at 250p, 8 months ago having watched the SP rise and read all the other posts for the 2-3 months previously.
Based on these well intentioned but completely inaccurate forecasts our inexperienced investor who you are so desperate to protect, figures they can tie this money up for 6 months but thats ok because by then the SP will have doubled or more. (Everyone here says so). But must have the money in 6 months. They are taking a big gamble but its only the posts here of of huge riches that has tempted them to over stretching themselves and taking this high risk approach. (They know its dangerous in their circumstances, but all these well researched posters can't be wrong, can they?)

Had they listened to you they have lost half their money by your constant discrediting of any view other than a SP rising one. If they had listened, for instance to me, they would have escaped with their capital largely intact.

Who is it exactly, that has harmed who, in the above scenario?

You need to take a long look in the mirror before you get on your moral high horse.

What you should post, if you really did care (which I know you don't). is that:
if you are inexperienced then don't read BB's they can do your head in its full of people talking the stock up on no info.
Don't ever, ever, invest more than you can afford to lose.
Be aware that most investments always take longer to come to fruition that you expected.

I posted a reaction to orphidian telling monimn to "Fluck off". That was it. Then for some reason GJE got a flea up his arse about the moniman thread and how I was being negatively biased about AVCT. (No, I can't see the link either.)

I responded politely and he went on and on and so did I to answer his ridiculous incorrect conflation.

Others then all jumped in to complain, amongst other things about my gardening skills, what a bore I am, ((fair enough, but if you met the local bore in your pub, why would you keep asking him questions?), how i still have multiple aliases (you really should let that go as you are all wrong).

Marik and ophidian then predictably chimed in not knowing who said what about who, stretching the tediousness of it all further. (The only missing one was Losta asking about all the green boxes but the day is not done yet.)

Just think, if gje, had not responded, and the rest of you, with all your condemnation of meaningless posts, even inventing meaningless threads to demonstrate how meanin less the replies will be, what might have been.... but we will never know.

It really isn't "my job" but maybe its because I can type with more than one finger at a time makes some think I spend more time on this then they realise. Which also probably explains why my posts go on. (it doesn't take any time to type these "long" posts out.

And remember my only contention is with the LFT roll out (or lack of it) and its likely impact on AVCT's finances compared to the majority think here.

Some have gone to quite extraordinary lengths to invent a completely different narrative. Well done I say, three cheers. Its really helped this BB no end.

Funnily enough it was when ophidian went off or one insisting that I had different aliases that made me realise his analytical skills and conclusions were probably not all that reliable and so it has proved.

Right oh Joe, the tree is over 60ft tall but I'll buy a chainsaw and take a tree surgeon's course and get right on it.

The rest smaller stuff I do every 2 years to try and keep it down, but again thanks for your well intentioned input.
