No mention in Shares article today after all as purely EV car companies and not the supply chain companies involved.

Surprised no mention as SAV getting DIA is very newsworthy and Shares have covered SAV in the past as a recommendation, although they did also once warn SAV against focusing on lithium instead of copper and other projects, so maybe they don't know what they're talking about anyway !

Wouldn't want buying out at moment as SAV can do well on its own. But this fund could step in to buyout such important firms if they struggle as independents.

Frustrating to see sp slip but fairly certain that the scoping study in early H2 will see the sp significantly re-rate higher.

Anything under 5p is surely going to ultimately be a bargain price to get into SAV and a multibag opportunity.

Smacks of the A2 experience where many mistakenly thought that once the water ingress was solved then the 4mmscfd flow would massively improve, bug once fixed the flow was actually halved to 2mmscfd. So experience warns that even if the "suspected" mechanical blockage is removed then thd flow may night necessarily improve and might drop further. False assumptions have been shown to be costly with IOG.

Ominous mention of low gas prices and financing too, so IOG picture looking very bleak IMHO. I need to accept that I've lost my significant investment here and any future improvement would be an unexpected bonus from here on.

Some big offloading trades going through today which is strange given forthcoming scoping study that surely will see a significant rerating and rise in sp. However, fair enough if banking profit due to needs. Or maybe an institution that will do this regularly on the way up ?

Anyway, I've been adding as confident we could multibag from this level over next 2 to 3 years and beyond.

I wouldn't panic about bad news leaking unless it plummets back into the 4's and lower which is likely if negative news comes out. H2 is last chance saloon so the drop would be catastrophic and terminal. This is just a typical dip at present.

Given that Southwark A2 was reported to be flaring hugely but only flowed at a no-commercial 2mmscfd then I'm not counting any chickens at all. No flaring reports prior to Elgood or Blythe H1 which are IOG 's only "successful" wells to date, so flaring reports mean nothing in respect of success or not.

Shares magazine are doing an EV supplement next week so hopefully SAV will get a good mention and some new PI interest may build ? After the DIA news I'm confident SAV can now go from strength to strength and build gradually into a very successful Li mining company with excellent relationships with major EV and/or battery manufacturers in the EU and possibly UK.

DIA is final decision regarding EIA. The subsequent stages of RECAPE, DCAPE and TUA are about design of the mine and Licensing to operate. The DIA is a major crucial one though and essentially gives the go ahead. Encouragingly, 95% of APA decisions between 2008 and 2018 were favourable (with conditions) towards the projects. Mining made up 29% of those 808 decisions over those 10 years inPortugal. So fingers crossed SAV......DIA day next week !

Absolutely ! Would be damaging to SAV to be linked with supplying Li outside of EU and local Portuguese and Spanish battery factories especially. Enough contention already being a British company operating in EU rather than a local company and SAV worked hard to play down that issue.

Well we'll know either way this time next week as the deadline is 31st May. So just one more week at most to sit and wait for APA to make the sensible decision and approve to issue their DIA so that the RECAPE phase can get underway ASAP. Then once DCAPE is issued SAV can work towards final step of TUA and mine construction. No time to waste so SAV face a very busy time hopefully from next week !

And I'm sure no Europeans care about Boris or the UK and only British politicians are concerning themselves with that. The European govts are in with a chance now to at least show intention towards an element of self-sufficiency by forcing Portugals hand to approve MdB as a lithium source and we'll sooner if they take that chance or blow it.
