David, Mole, Aligator, Andrew - we seem to be the only LTH's left on here talking any balanced sense and being lambasted by the bottom feeders for doing so ! Today's update was truly a further depressing note to read but not entirely unexpected. Having had so much in the pipeline to look forward to with confidence 12 months ago it is gutting that H2 is of paramount importance now, and ominously ironic that its name seems to just be waiting for its O suffix to be added by IOG in 3 months time !?

Ridiculous that IOG didn't RNS that info....comms is as poor as ever. Great that H2 approved anyway.

At least once approval is given then they'll be breaking laws and we'll be legally approved so they should be moved on and dispersed if they take such obstructive actions. The dates are legally set so have to be adhered to, so no amount of objections should be able to delay anything.

I'm hoping for an RNS to confirm submission, and a follow up one not too long after to confirm approval as I feel the longer it takes then the less likely it will be approved, as APA have worked closely with SAV so they should already know what it says so shouldn't take anywhere near the 50 days to review and confirm decision. All IMHO of course. APA should explain any refusal clearly though as they have worked alongside for so long to guide SAV with this amendment to the submission.

FFS, grow up will you. It's not deramping but just open, honest discussion of the risks involved instead of just ignoring them. Every single well drilled to date has had serious water issues so why the f*** you all think H2 is a stonewall banker to succeed with no water issues is beyond logical thought. It would be great if IOG can finally get a producing well without issues to revamp the sp as many of us LTH will then recoup at least some of our heavy losses, but pardon us for being experienced in IOG and understanding the history involved and the risks.

Itsriskythat - but my concern is if there's any problems with H2 then IOG could be left with no significant production basically and may need to opt for cutting losses and just moving on to the next development wells in the hope of finding some trouble-free producing wells ? That's why I think so many have bailed out as it's essentially all on H2 now and given that there's serious water issues at Blythe already then there's certainly no guarantee that H2 will be trouble-free.

Itsriskythat - good question, and I'd also like to know from IOG if H2 will be the only producing well once working, as H1 includes too much liquid so would make sense to just run H2 if it works as a producing well without liquids and the associated big prohibitive costs of disposal.

The govt need to pull their finger out over EV charging infrastructure as apparently last year only one public charging point t was installed in UK for every 53 EVs sold in UK ! Unsurprisingly demand for EVs is plummeting due to lack of charging points and fuel costs dropping so now cheaper to run combustion cars than EVs. Ridiculous situation that govt need to address fast with financial input for infrastructure and EV subsidies.

Coldspy - that 13p per therm doesn't include liquid disposal costs as they are what is crippling IOG and causing the big issue with Blythe and Elgood. At 13p it would be no issue at all !

Deltalo - Only hedged equivalent of approx 1mmscfd at the moment I believe ? And latest news said prices have plummeted because all storages are full currently due to mild winter.
Does anyone on here have reliable source of gas prices that IOG receive for their unhedged production?

Deltalo - my understanding from news headlines last week is that gas price is at lowest for 18 months so where is your 200 million pa figure coming from please ?

Deltalo - only producing 15-20 currently, so H2 could double current production rate. Not sure where your 2/3rds comes from?

It's the system that's at fault and is set up to confuse and cause losses, as why have colours to indicate trades if it can't be trusted or used ?

They said the rig would move once regulatory approval for H2 was given, which I thought they would surely announce via RNS, so not clear why they would arrange to move rig without confirmed approval.

Deltalo - where have you seen that notification info please ?
