Still a long way to go and further hoops to jump through after an EIA/DIA approval so just hitting double figures upon approval would be a great start to sp progress.

If its passed to govt to make decision then I think they are more likely to approve. However, conditions may be attached which prove problematic for SAV, so yes we need to wait until the announcement is made and see what it entails, so another couple of weeks to wait yet probably.

So it's either going to be approved (with conditions possibly) or we're waiting on Govt to announce it within next 10 days from tomorrow ?

Are you saying this following 1digger's post a few days ago or are you also saying (like 1digger did) that APA need to give 10 days notice prior to 50 day expiry if a rejection or not a straightforward approval ?

Scored - Yes I'm under much deeper water than you then ! Yours is possibly achievable at 14p but mine is not as over 30p and really can't imagine it getting back there so will have to see what happens and bail once I'm happy with portion recovered. No funds to average down and no longer have enough confidence in IOG to buy more anyway, even if I did have funds available. I think there's a few in similar position that got badly stung by the Southwark debacle.

Scored - so where's your breakeven price after your previous losses on IOG ? I thought you'd washed your hands of IOG ?

MdB locals are just a bunch of NIMBY's, simple as that and hopefully APA will know that and opt in SAV and EU's favour very soon.....or God help Portugal

My worry is that IOG could use the sp rise from H2 flow to raise finance by issuing shares at a discount price which would see the rise dragged back down quite quickly and dilution then limit future sp potential. I hope the fact I'm concerned about it means it won't happen, as everything else I thought would happen with IOG hasn't to date !

RN said something similar in run up to Southwark A2 nightmare so we can't take anything for granted with IOG until it happens and the RNS is published. Even rumours, flaring images and sp rise occurred prior to A2 news so those are no safe signal either. Need to wait for confirmed news or else its gambling.

1digger - not sure about your query, but I do recall someone posting that if APA fail to give a decision after 50 days then it defaults to an approval decision, which would obviously suit us investors nicely ! I have never heard anything about being able to pass it on to govt to decide and surely that would render this whole 50 day process as a waste of time and useless, so I see it as APA have to decide one way or the other....and the ticking is getting louder by the day !

I thought that having worked closely with APA on the amended EIA the decision would have been issued by now as no surprises for APA within it, but clearly not the case and looks like they are using their full 50 day entitlement. Maybe it's just to appease the opponents so it shows it was carefully considered before being approved ? Let's hope so.....

Yet some on here talking of multibagging on strength of one well taking us to 40mmscfd max for initial peak, even though we struggled to stay over 40p when gas was several pound per therm and forecast production by year end if over 100mmscfd.......dream on I say. We'll do well to hit double figure sp if H2 flows.

CM, yes that's what I said, none should be added to any announced at decision time.

The entire legal process would be deemed farcical if there is any can-kicking allowed re the APA decision. It was clear that the timescales were rigidly defined and non-negotiable, hence the decision goes in SAV's favour if APA fail to hit the deadline 50 working days. And once done it should not be possible to reverse it or add any further requirements onto any announced at decision time. Any other outcome would render the entire process useless and surely Portugal dead in the water as far as EU developments are concerned.

Let's hope that none of this political turmoil can impact the APA decision process at this very late stage.
