Yes a decent price not discounted. Equates to approx 7.5% of total shares in issue prior to placing so not a huge dilution. If it significantly speeds up the processes mentioned to accelerate progress toward mine vonstruction then its got to be positive and worthwhile as surely it will bring investment sooner with offtake agreements, etc. Interest in the placing might also put SAV in minds of other potential investors. We all knew a placing was likely sooner or later as no income at present and further steps need funding. Better this way than other parties taking a big chunk of the pie for investing.

My opinion for reason that sp remains under pressure is that stabilised flow is at low end of expectation and forward average flow forecast is below previous estimated range, plus the mentioned "communication" between H1 and H2 raises concern in my mind that a potential exists for water to find its way to H2 as well, which would obviously be a disaster for IOG. Other issues around finance too but these two facts alone cause enough concern for me.

This message board has declined even worse than the sp....back when IOG was on the up towards becoming a producer we had healthy commentary and discussion on here but since the problems arose in last year or so it has declined drastically and is now full mostly of pathetic squabbling and rampers v derampers.

I concur with CM as I mentioned a similar type of article recently that raised concerns about SAV's cash burn and had some remarkably similar phrasing used within it so I agree thatboth articlez are likely to have been written by robot and should be ignored.

My concern is the mention of communication between H1 and H2, which surely runs the risk of the water finding its way to H2 from H1.

Any holding 3% or more would have to be listed, so only LOG admin and PM.

Calder, my understanding for phase 1 is it's a 50:50 JV split between IOG and Calenergy, plus the royalty to Calenergy, so they make the most, not IOG.

Not sure if it had any sp impact but I had a Yahoo article flag up on my phone that was highlighting concern over SAV's cash burn rate. Did anyone else see it? It wasn't very detailed so not sure if it is a genuine concern or just an article to get people to click on further links it showed. Probably a junk article but might have alarmed some nervy investors into selling out ? I've held for years and intend to remain until we're producing from the mine and making good profit !

All IMHO......We are likely to remain at these sort of sp levels for a good while as it'll take time to build the cash from H2 and deal with the bond and LOG administration issues, so not likely to attract much investment until that has happened and future position and plan becomes much clearer. Drop is due impatient holders getting out as they realise no fast profit to be made here after all.

1meteor - I hope you're right that's all it is....years of IOG experience as an LTH makes me very nervous when water is mentioned. The slightly reduced gas rate is noted too, but should be resolved if a blockage is found and sorted. But I don't like the wording today as they don't seem as certain about this blockage as before. Yet another bad day as an IOG LTH. And before the usual onslaught comes, yes I know I could sell, but kind of hoping to recover some of my money at least.

Musicman - as a LTH of over 5 years I am hardly talking it down am I, wanting investment or JV to boost sp and SAV's prospects to go it alone ?!

I hope DF is promoting SAV heavily in the background as the distinct low key reaction to DIA and Scoping Study is very underwhelming to say the least and we're going to drift back sub 4p and lower without some solid buying interest being generated soon.

I know we're in a long term project but if the interest isn't there in the SAV story then there must be a risk that we'll be gobbled up for peanuts by a bigger player and they'll reap the rewards.

Jrlomax, what part of H1 will be shut in once H2 is up and running do you not get? The fluid in H1 is too costly to deal with at the low gas prices. They may open it up again if necessary if gas prices rise high enough again to warrant the liquid cost.

Yes, hoping to see the scoping study inJuly to significantly re-rate the SAV sp upward and onward towards next stages of the process towards MdB construction and operation.

As announced with previous condensate levels, these are likely to reduce significantly over time to much lower levels.
