I agree. It's been a long wait but I am sure that patience will pay off. Unless there is a catastrophe or the Koreas start fighting, I see 2011 as an exciting year for AVCT, AFC, XEL and CAR and if one or two of my sleepers wake up it could be a fantastic year. GLA.

Midas launch this Tuesday. This may be the last chance to buy AVCT at under 1p unless of course Midas flops, which I doubt, but you never know.

I took a very quick glance at FTO and unless you know of some up coming event that could change this boring share, I would get out of it. It's 3 year chart shows no movement up at all, an rns every blue moon and no recent director buys. AVCT will be good,AFC will be amazing, RRR looks good,HER is cheap with bags of potential or set up a share dealing ISA and buy AYM in February/March or buy Carclo now. You must make your money work for you otherwise in 10 years time you'll have what you started out with. GL.

Add AFC to your 10 year plan!

I first bought Avacta in August 2009 and in that time I have held between 50k and 1.5 mil ( which I hold now). In that time the sp has varied between circa .5p to 1.9p and to be honest, at times I lost patience with it and sold the lot because there seemed to be no direction with the company. Having done a lot of research on AVCT my conclusion was "If only they could get it together". Now as far as I am concerned, Avacta has got it together and there are good times ahead and I couldn't give a damn about fluctuations in the sp, it means nothing! I am expecting the sp to continue to fluctuate, but there will be a gradual overall rise as the company consolidates its commercial standing in the market. Have patience, if you want excitement, go and buy some oilers.

I feel at the moment that Avacta is still fragmented with lots of bits going on but not enough to push through the 1p level. I see very small movements hovering around the 1p mark for now, but as all the pieces of the jigsaw come together to form the bigger picture, I see some good rises ahead which is why I am considering loading even more into my sipp while they are this cheap and I do mean cheap!

I think that 1p is probable, positive news on Midas will do that. A steady flow of Optim sales will do little for the sp as I believe that AVCT is still not considered bankable, it has to give the impression of a growing company before the sp moves north in a serious manner. This I believe will happen when Midas becomes established and successful and Optim sales are in multiples. Only my opinion of course.

I believe it's around the £100k mark, but there are consumables and service contracts.

I am sure that there is potential here. I have 500k in my trading account and 500k in my sipp but luckily I also hold a lot of AFC in both, so they have rocketed in the last few days, just need some movement on AVCT to make this a really good year. GL anyway.

This is one of the shares that I have been in and out of since I first bought in at 142p. I haven't really kept tabs on it for a while but I think that trials are taking place in Edinburgh of LED street lights. DIA has lots of competitors but if you consider changing every street light , traffic light and anything else that glows at night into LEDs then DIA has a long way to go yet. I'm holding on for a while.

I have emailed both Avacta and EV but alas, no reply.
