Strangely enough I will not be selling any more AVCT shares because I now have a reasonable number of them without having too much money tied up.
I have however decided to get away from this type of minnow because having experienced NRRP de-listing today I feel that micro cap companies with penny shares are no longer worth the bother. I am not denying that the occasional boomer does happen, but they are few and far between and the sad thing is when you look at the LSE boards for the micro caps, some shares like EDL and HER have had endless posts day after day but have gone absolutely nowhere and yet OCG, in which I am building a good holding, has maybe 2 posts per week but is going great guns.
I am confident that Avacta will produce the goods, but holding 2.5mil shares for a year or so is not the way to make money.
It's also worth noting that some companies that carry out reports on micro caps, especially miners and oilers have been known to overestimate their potential, which makes a mockery of one's careful research.
So having gone through the worst financial calamity I have ever known and watched as my paper losses sneaked up on me, I feel that I am wise enough now to do some serious investing which will not include micro caps but maybe a few promising small caps and definitely shares for the ISAs.
So stick with Avacta, I think it is on the way up now and will continue to do so. It's also nice to be in profit with them just for a change. GL.
