The only reason that I believe the SP will rise steadily is because Avacta describes itself as a Consumables and Equipment company, so if you are basing your future on consumables, you first have to sell the equipment that uses them.
I don't believe that AX-1 is that expensive, so the profit from sales won't be that great and will be a one off for each machine. However, over the next year or so, with enough units in the field, consumable sales should increase and will remain in line with growing sales of each AX-1.
Having said that, bb could well be right, if progress is kept under wraps until a major statement is made the SP could well rise suddenly only to retrace and I would prefer a steady climb.
Getting a human version of AX-1 to market is a different and much more expensive ball game, but I wouldn't be surprised if that is already under way. As for helping to solve the antibiotics problem, I really don't know. You would have to ask someone with more that two brain cells, which is what I had at the last count.
