This share is probably done sadly. just like most uk shares. the country has a whole probably done so why should ocado be any different. no real government for decades. like or hate donald trump one thing for sure at least he does what he said he would do and he seems to be doing alot of things. all starmer has done so far is release prisoners raise taxes, tell us to expect constant bad news with the economy, and lock up people for social media posts. Uk in desperate need of some real government.

Also, the significant increase of instore shopping following was bound to happen. this is a temporary situation. when people had their freedom to go outside taken away it is perhaps normal once its given back you then want to make more use of it. in a few years the novelty will wear off. especially with all the barriers and self checkouts and no staff you have in most supermarkets these days.

At this stage it would be nice if someone could make an offer and put us out of our misery lol. it is strange that this company is trading so low. the fact is the future is online. you look at all supermarkets now they all have dedicated online teams fulfilling orders. then you have the explosion of Deliveroo and others delivering shopping. then you have the shopping experience is just terrible now, no staff, barriers everywhere, scanning receipts to get in or out and it all points to one direction. the future is online. only people shopping now are middle aged and older. the younger generation mostly shop online. then ocado by all measures does have industry leading tech. so why is the business not doing as well as it should? i think it comes down to management. they have partnered with stupid partners is USA of a dinosaur age. Kroger has been a huge let down and you will see soon amazon and walmart will dominate over them. they will be left behind because of thier failure to embrace the future. And ocado stupidly gave them exclusivity perhaps missing out on a deal with amazon who would use ocados tech better. hopefully Kroger get in a new CEO who understands the future and makes full use of ocados tech.

They will reaise taxes and CGt. they dont want any forms of wealth creation. you need to always remain a 'worker' as kkier starmer puts it.

Id put nothing past this government. I mean first thing they do is release a bunch of prisoners early. They are also heavily supported by the media. I believe the US election probably more important than the our one. UK heavily linked to American policy even more so since brexit. I think if Harris gets in Starmer will have free reign to implement his agenda which probably wont be good for any of us. Trump gets in however, it could hopefully be a different story.

This government will destroy the economy if it isnt already gone beyond repair. more workers rights? I am sorry but as an employer its already next to impossible to sack anyone, and have you been out shopping our anything recently? does customer service exist anymore? does anyone look like they actually want their job? The current Instagram generation all thing they have the right to be millionaires and work ethic is already terrible. announcing more worker rights will only lead to less employment. Then they are also coming for your capital gains tax, probably making buying shares in an already crap market pointless. it is almost as if its deliberate.

Well tbf the government needs all the money it can get for these endless wars. for sure they cant tax the weapons companies making record profits who only profit off people dying. that would not make any moral sense.

No smoke without fire. Amazon were interested and perhaps still are. A problem was ocado relationship with kroger. A competitor with Amazon. I suspect ocado waiting to see Kroger next course of action after this deal with regards to exclusivity etc. Alot could happen once this deal with albertsons is concluded

Digital is the fastest growing channel of Kroger at the moment. As result later will show. Deal with albertsons fails, it seems obvious that to be competitive they will need to invest in its growing consumer channels. I suspect potential buyout of ocado at some point

If the Kroger deal goes through which I think it will, then obviously good for ocado with more cfcs etc. If it fails could also be good for ocado leaving Kroger perhaps needing to double down on digital with funds for a protential buyout

Patience needed here. this will come good. All the cfcs they've currently built alone will generate huge sums in the future. That's not including future deals. Online is a growing market. Ocado will get a share of turnover made from cfcs. Yes the cfc are expensive to build but once but they are there for future endless use minus depreciation or any updates. The world's biggest retailers signed this tech. I don't think they are stupid. They know the game Thier in. I also have a feeling a new deal announced soon.

Share price is where it is because UK generally a very risk adverse market. Add to that high interest rates. Many prefer to invest in a savings account. In USA this would be trading at multiples of current price. Ocado potential future revenues will be a a significant percentage of online orders across some of the biggest retailers in the world. Think about how much revenue that could be. So just relax.
