What a mess. totally crap offer. thanks per for your 'value creation'. what i dont understand is if we were on track (as we kept befen told) for pers targets prior to the tax increase shouldnt we expect to see significant debt deduction in upcoming accounts? seems they wanna blame everything on the tax.

This is just a wait and see. Could go either way really. I can't understand how the tax has led it from 75p to 20p. Seems excessive. The tax is bad but there's potential for it to be a positive long term. Shops more valuable and smaller operators forced out. Not sure it justifies such drop. The market cap is misleading. The market is not valuing the business at 100ml. They are valuing it at around 1900ml. Any buyer would probably be needing to pay at least that unless they want to take on the debt

Haha I own alot more than I'd like to. I bought into the per reset crap. But I think now I'm just being a realist. From what I can see it's the debt interest payments stopping this company from running a profit. If someone pays 600 mill + removes the debt that's only 2.3bn for 300 million. A year abita generation. Company leaner and better under pers reign to.

Surely this news and subsequent low sp makes it more of a takeover target as companies look to consolidate. Lack of action is concerning as maybe potential suiters now happy to it let it go to auction. Surely if someone can come in clear the debt outright. The company has huge value.

I know labour care about problem gambling but better solution is in future with digital id. Ya can scan people's invdidual barcode and see how much they've gambled that month. If the government thinks it's too much they can block access to gambling sites for rest of the month. Just a thought of a solution to solve problem gambling. Amazing
