Kroger really done ocado dirty here. Big cloud of uncertainty to hang over the price for months. Just like reeves did to the gambling stocks in UK. Not something a business partner should do. real low blow by Kroger.

I'm shocked that so much emphasis is being placed on Kroger. It's obvious Kroger not the right fit for ocado. Thats not my main concern. Moving forward it all depends on if they strike another major deal in USA. Personally I think Amazon is perfect for ocado. That's. A relationship that could flourish. If ocado can't sign a significant deal in USA we'll then we are in huge trouble. Sign a USA deal and the stock price explodes. No in-between with this one. USA is important not Kroger!

Wow how on earth can this be so low? Huge international contracts all over the world. Ok Kroger one not working out so suddenly it's a bad company? We going to know one way or another very soon with this company. Kroger review and with exclusivity finishing in many markets you'd expect some deals soon. If not It could be end of the road or a hope that Amazon pays £4 a share. There I was thinking I got a steal at £5. Can they not announce one measly significant deal?

This is crashing and we don't even know if tax increases will be that bad. If they do increase by the rumoured amount this will fall further. Could be 20p end of month.

Why don't they sell 888? One thing for sure any taxes are going to shake up the industry. Lots of smaller players going to struggle. Bigger players will need to capture market share to offset tax increase. Consolidation and mergers? Maybe that's why no insiders buying at these levels. What was the reasoning behind buying William hill? Surely there must have been some sort of plan? The share has been a disaster since then. Surely a merger gotta be on the cards with Increased taxes. Consolidation seems logical? As I said they will need a merger or a take over if they are going to survive e this government. Even if they don't increase taxes by so much this year? What's to stop them 6 months later repeating the same big budget suspended that tanks the share price. How can anyone Invesr in UK stocks with this lot? They did the same last year. Were rumours for months of tax Increases on bookies which tanked the price but in the end that time they didn't go through with it. Probably won't be so lucky this time

It's gotta be on purpose. What better way to spook the markets than to have. A big almost 6 month build up to the budget and then yesterday speech also. UK stock market finished surely at this rate. Country is broke we keep being told but have endless money for digital id roll out that nobody wants! Also what about the climate? The energy and data storage needed for national digital id certainly won't be doing the climate any good. How did the media manage to get rid of truss? Guess she was guilty of trying to get some positivity going. So much for democracy we have a government in power that I still haven't found one person is happy with!

Best we could hope for is that the taxes trigger some sort of merger activity. maybe entain buy or merge with evoke? trim the shops down while still maintaining a decent number overall. getting rid of its main high street competition in the process? thats if they even care about retail betting anymore. seems on a total decline. if they do increase taxes as has been rumoured one thing is for sure evoke wont survive as is unless there is a takeover, merger or sale of some of its assets? can they not sell 888 brands to pay down the debt? gotta be some options. they for sure going to need them.

Yh defo gonna be big tax hike. even worse could be some 'fresh restrictions' applied. emphasis on the word 'fresh'. anyone notice the last 5 years or so its been one 'fresh' restriction after the next. how about mix it up a bit and grant some 'fresh' individual accountability. i cant see the gambling industry surviving as is. no way. gambling defo causes problems i know first hand. but blame game never works. gambling for most is a fun social activity. we cant keep punishing and restricting everyone because a few cant control themselves. society will become very restrictive indeed. that old buzz word for 5 years. restrictions!

OCado would be the obvious choice in which case this is great news. choose another provider or another method and this could get ugly. so lets see. in mean time try and contribute yas buncha s aps.

Amazon to close all uk stores to focus on delivery. Amazon said it had "made the difficult decision" after a "thorough evaluation of business operations and the very substantial growth opportunities in online delivery."

someone is going to be right and someone is going to be wrong. amazon is screaming deal with ocado. a match a match made in heaven. ocado suits amazon business model. good riddance to kroger!

I genuinely dont understand the big deal. they said some CFC working well some not. thats not an attack on ocado business model, thats just saying different areas different densities require a flexible or different solutions. they were clear e commerce thier fastest growing segment and its very important to them. what they did allude to is that from store fulfilment may be more implemented throughout its network of stores. they will need MFC or some sort of in store fulfilment tech for this. seems logical ocado would be the guys. ocado supply this solution. only reason they would not choose ocado is if the relationship has had a breakdown. then that would be more management on both sides failure and nothing to do with ocado solution so it would still be in demand for other usa retailers. this drop is a huge buying opportunity.

Haha strong feeling this fall is all about s hite. kroger reviewing fulfilment strategy? ocado announced 2 months ago they can no operate as mfc in smaller sites? could be that kroger announce a roll out of ocado mfcs across its stores. and all the saps in the city got retail to sell cheap outa fear. getting the price nice and low for buy in. you guys scared of any possible bad news just totally being played. the review could just as much turn out to be positive as it does negative. but the city and thier media friends got yas all running to the hlls. haha absolute genius.

What a totally crap share to hold. meanwhile all other stocks in usa surging. we stuck holding this bag of s hite. palantir, sofi, gosh so many better options i had rather than liumping in this crap 2 years ago

We just need 1 significant contract and this flies. just 1 yas packa bas tards. how hard can it be. need to keep momentum with this share. after the bounce after results ya needed a few new deals. change the sentiment. instead we back to total negative sentiment. poor Tim tryna revolutionise the grocery industry and being hit by bunch of jealous negativity.

The uk economy is in big trouble. everyone living off credit. inflation high. crap government. lack of work ethic. government who dont like aspiration. housing prices ludicrously expensive. the economy has been artificially propped up by bank of mom and dad who benefited from the good years. help to buy shared ownership and sh ite like that to artificially keep property prices high. it is not looking good for the economy. ocado has to change its listing. wonder what these sa ps going to announce at the next budget. i havent met one single person happy with this goverment. now theres democracy

They made the same argument with amazon. people prefer reading in book store etc. ocado being uk based is not helping. no one has faith in starmer and co. kroger said ocado cfc not doing great in lower density areas. well duh! thats not a surprise. ya need to be in big citys. in any case citys will be getting denser to. especially in countries ocado operates.
