Why is it that playtech can sell some crappy italian business for a fortune to flutter yet this cant command at least 2 billion for iconic british brand? clearly they refusing offers. big american player could buy this clear debt pump few billion into it and make it a world leader. william hill as a brand should be up there with bet365 and paddy. far more iconic than ladbrokes or corals. why were cesers so quick to off load william hill. clearly smelt a rat. I think this be a good buy for penn entertainment

Nonsense, your on. they wont accept less than £2 and for that reason i dont think takeover likely. more likely is a merger. ultimately the debt is the same as few years ago give or take but overall the business is in better shape than when the offer of 156 came.

i fear we will have to wait a while but i still believe this will come good and one day be over £2 via a takeover or once per gets the debt down

There is no way this is being sold at anything less than £2 a share. isrealis are very tough negotiators. probably explains why it hasnt been sold yet. may just have to wait few years see if per can deliver

The uk as a country is in severe decline in many ways. the economy etc. bad leadership. companies are going to sink. right now theres a sale on in USA. seems better bet than this crap.

All he had to do was reduce the debt. not get fancy with high marketing spends, and vanity hires and removal from US. just use all surplus cash to reduce the debt. then higher share price and more lucrative for potential bid. but he tried to get fancy. now i fear this might the first fall of a huge well known gambling giant in the uk. much like a woolworths. and wouldnt this government love the publicity. Yes this is back on the up. new contracts coming, key existent contracts extending rollout, cash flow positive in a year. £8 by the summer. in Tim we trust.

All the money they get turnover etc. just allocate most of it to the debt. near 2 billion turnover. surely good chunk of that can go to the debt. sell some shops, go out on the streets a move here a move there. debt finished and £5 share price. very easy

essentially this has all come about because of m&s trying to get out of paying on a technicality. and kroger scratching their ****. m & s is nothing without ocado, ocado brought them back. they can enjoy their little ride of the share price as that business is in decline. as for kroger, they will also pay the price for scratching their **** with cfc rollout. amazon will overtake them. in the end ocado will have the last laugh over these businesses intent on a screw job

problem here is the management. terrible deals. m&s deal and them not paying up = terrible management. ocado brought m&s back. they would probably be finished if not for ocado. lets be honest. the brand reach and awareness they getting is priceless. yet they dont want to pay up. same for kroger & sobeys. bunch of saps. ocado should have signed with amazon. giving kroger exclusivity while they scratch their ****nal was a terrible decision.

Theres really no reason for this constant fall. company on track to be cashflow positive. all their partners are making record sales growth, M&S, kroger & sobeys. They are on track. just takes time. any company that becomes responsible for a systemic shift in consumer behavior takes time. naturally there will be lots of resistance and ignorance. one thing for sure. conventional shopping is over. 10 years from now the days of popping in seeing your local checkout worker and having an enjoyable shop is over. the supermarkets are making sure of this with some resembling prisons. OCado and its partners will be placed to benefit from this. this is so low as its in the UK. brits are very cautious, often scared to take a chance in life. In usa this be multiples of what it is now as they would see the potential.

Haha sadly the reality. going to be tough for UK companies to survive this government. you just know Starmer waiting for any excuse to increase taxes further.
