Kroger report later. what yas reckon? the saps still not got new CEO.

A logistics director for ALDI china liked a recent OCADO post. probs means nothing but does make you think if OCADO signed a deal in China. this share price would rocket. in many ways OCADO perfectly suited to chinese market. dense population etc.

Yh seems this will retreat unless some good news. have to keep momentum with this share other impatience afraid of taking a chance in life uk market loses interest. i spend alot of time with a family member in essex. they live in a big housing/flat complex. a year ago they were the only ones ordering from Ocado. now literally every day there is an OCADO van delivering to someone. gotta be a good sign surely.

Very reassuring to hear talk of strong deleveraging. That says to me they are on track. Deleveraging will drive this share price higher. if they reach thier target of around 500-600ml (3x5 ebita) reduction in debt then by default the share price will be at least treble what it is now based on Market cap. anything else such as growth, expansions and increased revenue and then we have a potential 5 or 6 bagger. personally im not selling until at least £2 but would not be surprised if this reaches £3 in 2027. problem is so many retail investors sell too early.

Ocado is simply an amazing company. Deserves success for daring to be different. The retail aspect is in my opinion hands down the best supermarket in the UK. Even if they had actual stores called Ocado Id shop there over the others. The range, the quality, the customer service & reasonable prices. the convenience and simplicity. no other company gives so many small producers a chance to sell their products. If they replicate that with their partners the future is very bright indeed.

Ok mate! stick your head under the self checkout cameras and leave it there. lets see how much it conforms to CE standards. as for the beef, its all crap. even labeling it grass fed means its only fed 50% grass and even then it can be fed to a cow in a barn suffering a terrible life. thats the standards of ALDI. i prefer my irish organic truely grass fed on pastures beef from OCADO. better for me and better for the animal. a few pennies difference in price totally worth it. maybe people should pay less attention to all thier brands and cars they cant afford and pay a little bit extra for better qaulity food. shop with OCADO!

Also another side affect you have shopping now not many know about. self checkouts....when ya use them you getting a nice strong dose of electromagnetic radiation. They know used this technology much like an airport scatter machine to monitor packed items. ok sometimes of course. but i wouldnt want to be exposing myself to it constantly. before everyone says its harmless. remember absence of evidence of harm is not evidence of lack of harm. humans have never been exposed to as much electromagnetic radiation as we are today. just another reason to shop at ocado!

Add to thst you also have all the moody staff walking around fulfilling online orders. then ya have all the deliveroo guys coming in with bug huge backpacks lucky if they dont knock you over. as i said barriers everywhere. no way. not for me.

When you calculate everything including cost of getting to supermarket including all those crap items you going to buy in supermarket that you didnt plan on buying. OCADO just way better. its no contest. in fact i am amazed so many people still do in store shopping. its just such a terrible experience. panic holes with bees up thier arse everywhere. no thanks. i stick to OCADO. only time i go into the other dumps is for some small items i need on that day.

Yh long time customer of Ocado. food not actually more expensive than others in many cases. aldi filet steak hormone fed taste like rubber costs £8. OCado grass fed organic irish filet around 8 or 9. the choice on Ocado great too. just a far superior shopping experience. one of the reasons i invested after shopping with them for over 10 years. only matter of time before the masses wake up.

This will now probably begin the customary fall back to test new lows until we get some sort of substantial news regarding contracts or expansions.

Ocado ended exclusivity with group casino in france in 2022. no new contracts there. strange as they have a relationship with Auchan so surely if all good they would have done in france also. Like i said that ending of exclusivity comment to me screams red flag. Sobeys paid Ocado to end exclusivity early so im not sure why its been painted as positive. Until ocado sign a new contract in a country where they already have a contract we cant get too happy

The relationship with kroger is key. the way i see it. if kroger want to continue with OCADO they have to buy them out. and if they dont then they will slow CFC rollout and seek other partnerships which of course will be a major blow to OCADO but not one they cant come back from. there will be no inbetween. ya heard it here.

Im concerned about the ending of exclusivity comments. surely if things going well with partners they would renegotiate and arrange further rollouts and exclusivity. ending of exclusivity didnt work too well with Sobeys no further retailer in canada signed and the market didnt like it. so perhaps whiffs of postive spin there. could be further sobeys situations down the line. perhaps with kroger as things dont seem too good there. on the flip side ending of exclusivity may force kroger to take over Ocado if they like thier tech of course. many feel kroger has no choice but to roll out ocado fully. also leaves room for potential takeover by another company or a deal with amazon maybe. one thing for sure. going to be many bumps in the road. strap in. we are not over the hill yet

Uk population and previous generations have benefited hugely from the property appreciation. most average joes who bought a house somewhere in commuter belt 20 years ago sitting on nice equity. well the property game over now. perhaps too many got used to nice and safe easy large returns. in life ya need some risk. he who dares wins Rodney!

Timothy Steiner said we shouldnt worry. so im gonna take his advice. shorts just using the fear around profit to drive this share down. shake out weak hands. really easy to do with a really risk adverse UK stock market. Ya know its bad when even the labour lot are saying there needs to be less fear around stocks.

Give the man a chance to establish his network. People for some reason still choose to shop in store which is simply beyond me. the entire in store shopping experience is a nightmare. from apathetic staff if there are any. Try ask a staff member where an item is. your lucky if you get a funny look and a point somewhere. well especially the case in London. barriers all over the place, scanning receipts to get out. no cash allowed. Why people still put themselves through that when they dont have to anymore is beyond me. Ocado is actually very comparable in price. A time will come when going to the supermarket to shop will simply become too much of a chore. as long as Ocado can stay in the game until then, its got a chance to do something. it needs to change listing from UK. let stock exchange keep its steady eddy shares like banks and supermarkets. This share needs to be traded amongst the visionaries

Gosh the losers in the city hammering this share down. what they teaching these saps at uni. profit is all that counts is it. so go and invest in a barber shop. this is a revolutionary business. it will take time and there will be bumps and it might ultimately fail. but its worth taking a chance on. lets see how many of these city lot with thier s hite price targets could start a business and sell the tech around the world to the biggest retailers. Tim will fix this. i would rather bet on him then the saps in the city thats for sure. lets see what happens

The times started the rumor. but it wasnt just the rumour that got things started. if i remember the so called takeover price was £8. it got to £6 share price. then as it became apparent it was a lot of hot air, share price declined. then over coming weeks somehow shot up to £10. on what? up and down like a fly. may of been several days but all happened so fast i couldnt react in any case due to being away. but whats changed so much from then that it got to £10 in a few days now all the way to £2. this just stinks of classic screwjob. i have sizeable holding here. cant sell now as not willing to accept the loss. ya know what that means right. i probably gonna lose it all. why did i go on holiday in july 2023 haha. may live with me that.

A so called respected institution bbc ran an entire article on it. heavily implying it was more than a rumor. hence the share price trebled very quickly to allow 'insiders' in the know to get out. surely that price movement gotta be looked into. news companies have to be more careful than to manipulate markets on rumours that turned out to be total and complete utter arse. there was no truth in them at all.
