Bots I was just reiterating your recent mantra for the last 6-12 months.. I’ve made my investment decisions have put my money where my mouth is .. and have done over the last 7 years .. I still believe in the project and hope it will be fruitful investment over time ..

What I am confused about is if Botswana is all but Bankrupt how is going to pay for all this power .. being generated… BPC has zero cash according to our esteemed poster .. ?

On another note ...I wonder how the project is proceeding and whether they are close to getting the finance in place?

Always a very good sign Brad ...the fact that they have been doing it throughout the project shows their consistent belief.. And that can only be good thing! Because the AIM is littered with companies where the director fail to take up the wonderful opportunities their company's are offering ..funny that!

Most of the directors have backed this project time and time again. Always a good indication, as i'm sure they like anybody else wouldn't throw good money after bad time and time again.You only have to look at othe companies on the AIM directors buys are rarer than finding hens teeth in a feld of wheat

It was never £4 ( £3 for about 40mins in which you couldn’t sell) and was only 17p prior to the Covid spike .. that’s all ancient history .. it’s the here and now and the future that mater surely ?

No sovereign state is bankrupt .. they just print money .. look at the USA, Europe and UK to name but a few ..

It’s the impatience that causes the price to drop .. it happens with most AIM shares .. most loose on doing this .. but they still do .. fear of losing more drives this lose on lose

Can't see the point in all this Botswana is a corrupt country that has no means to pay for any power generated as BPC is bankrupt and won't let you sell through its power line to other countries. Also there no market currently for LNG or CNG ... And such big undertaking in a country that is very difficult to do business in especially if your a foreign company ... The market like the news iso much it dropped 5% ... And it's not even on the AIM

For me it's the time span of the lab test thats key here. Medical emergencies are all about speed of diagnosis and treatment. POC give this with accuracy any consultant worth his salt will want this done at speed not sent away with a long lead time to the results. They don't really have their eye on the cost. What is the cost of a human life wasted due to slow diagnoses and flawed treatment?. IMHO it will be adopted and will snowball once a few health authorities take it up.

Here’s thing it’s easy to criticise things from a far .. Nobody knows the ins and outs of what going on and what’s going to happen. You are either a believer or not .. if not … then why have you invested! More importantly why do you spend so much time on this board spouting one sided view.. it’s totally beyond comprehension and is certainly not rational behaviour!

I have no idea how some think this project could be funded .. it was either through dilution or debt finance or a mixture of the both. This project is expensive to get up and running in both time and cost! Let’s hope the rewards for creating a new industry a desperate energy starved continent are rewarded .. plot else what is the point

The mezzanine finance deal could be used to get over the line. Once they are producing they could then go for a refinancing at a much more favourable rate as the risk will be reduced dramatically. This is done all the time in business ..surely experts on here know that? No didn’t think so ! Boy

It can only be one of two thing in truth .. either he’s not happy with way things are going in terms of sales and market expansion or the company is not happy with his performance in implementation of the business plan .. Either way the market is unlikely to like a sudden change .. it tends to show a failing within the company to show the direction it is heading .. not unusual with small cap businesses .. Even with good products it still difficult to achieve solid sales traction in the short term!

Looks like something was awry with may be how Cheek saw the company moving forward and how the rest of the board saw it. But surely that should have been obvious at the interview stage
