As a fellow long suffering shareholder I too am waiting for the big payday...
In their defence, there has been a couple of issues out of their hands that has slowed things down by several years
(including the Bots Govt administratively delaying the initial RFP plus the small issue of COVID)...
However, they appear to be in the home straight when it comes to generating electrons...
Looking at their releases, that should happen before year end...
The question for me is how much will they be re-rated when this occurs...
Can the market leave this company at a market cap of A$40m with the following in place:
1. Producing gas at a commercial rate (in their own words)
2. Potential gas reserves in ground (not in anyway totally recoverable) but if we were to try and draw a comparison to quantify the total amount of gas, we would be looking at a volume similar to the original North West Shelf discovery.., Even a 10% recovery is a ridiculously big number...
3. A Power Purchasing agreement in place with Bots Power Corp for (initially) 20MW of gas fired power (with potential optionality to go to 100MW and beyond)..
4. All government approvals in place...
3. A completed 100km 66kV transmission line from the project to the Bots Power Corp sub station into the Bots national power grid...
4. The project's feed in sub station almost completed...
5. Financing (and contingencies) in place ...
6. Beyond Botswana, a Southern African power crisis (or, if I was working for the UN, it would be a "power catastrophe"..!!..)...
