ALL are primarily a exploration and development company, I think they never had any intention of putting it into production themselves, but still beleive we have a long way to go in this process, but it will be sold in December

I hope you are right, I don’t think the BOD have given up, I think there is much more to play out here, otherwise why give 6 months, they didn’t need too, but needed to deal with the Elevra problem. I don’t think another Chinese company will bid as that would be against their national interest , so is down to Assore or another US or European player. This is going to get interesting in the next 1-3 months I hope

Dont be too quick to dis the BOD, Herbert is a canny player in this sort of thing. Clearly it was going nowhere while Elevra were not engaged, (which may still be the case) but this will force their hand to get on board or not, the next month will be telling on their part. The 6 months has been set to give all interested parties time to consider if the bid or not. This is the first bid (maybe the last) and very much throw the rock in the pond and see where the ripples (tsunami) takes us, maybe no where but this is big boy stuff so hold on for the ride, its only just beginning.

Ever the optimist (or just stupid) this is just the start of a bidding war IMO, it puts pressure on Elevra or Assore or another to bid higher, there is a 6 month window for this, so early days, atleast at the moment I have a reasonable profit come christmas. GLA

MajorTom, certainly not, but they can talk this one out for some months and there is nothing a lawyer can do as they have broken no agreement. It is difficult to negotiate if the other side doesnt engage, and it appears ELEVRA have stated this as a low priority (this is what has changed)so might not even be talking in ernest yet. They dont have a veto on the FID but can delay agreement on it by wanting amendments etc. This also is impact if they want to re-negioiate their deal, so imo they are using their power to do this and if ALL dont play ball then they can just bury it for months in due process talks, as far as they are concerned the value stays in the ground until they need the offtake. Of course I hope this is not the case but.

This is a dead duck until elevra move, can’t agree FID, build or be taken over as no one will offer with this situation

RamonM they have signed agreements that would mean negotiation/litigation for either side to chenge or get out of the agreement, It seems Elevra no longer want to invest but dont seem compelled to do anything as they can bury (talk) the FID for months and there is nothing ALL can do, and this has always been the case. I think ELEVRA now see this as well you took 2 years to get RAT, wasnt our agreement and we will just sit on it as our focus is making money in the US, so basically stuck as ALL or another would need to buy out at a premium even if Elevara would engage

The longer Elevra can talk this out the more pressure on ALL to concede. Elevra are not acting as partners, just loking to maximise their share, which if they are truely uniterested they will potentially sell on, just treating us as a cash cow

Think Elevra are charlotans if after signing a contract and then demanding it to be renogotiated because they no longer like it and have power to force a change is not helpful. I read it they are not interested in the mine and just seeing how much they can extract now or just walk away and bury the agreement in aribitration. I hope this is not the case but seems to be the play at the moment, so we could be in a lengthy delay is getting this moving. ALL have 2 years from Rat to be in production, so time is on Elevra side to talk and talk

Risk now is Elevra just sit on the resource and therefore funding until they are forced to either stump up or divest. They have stopped the chinese getting their hands on it for now, which is the aim of the US govt. and should they wish to hold have quite a pile of offtake should they need it, which currently they dont appear to need to meet their customer commitments

I could easily see ALL divesting Ewoya as they are primarily an exploration company, taking the money and moving on, so not so sure a take over if it came would be for the whole of ALL, but just part

Maybe the board have nothing to say? Maybe they are considering the hundreds of bids they have received, or maybe they are just working on FID etc and have no official updates to give? ALL in good time

I think we are missing something here, ALL is the overall company which we have shares in, rather than taking over ALL maybe a bidder will want just Bavari which ALL could just sell and keep Core etc

Dear the signs are creeping in, parliament will become dysfunctional and they will end the session early and rat will be kicked down the road again. If it was so important to the country they would have completed it last year, so they are not bothered as the real money is in gold, so they changed the rules not for us but really for gold leases. Mm don’t seem interested or expect anything soon and normal investors are very quire, I really hope I am wrong but thinking this will be put off until September, not many days sitting left anyway GLA
