So I made an extra 2p on top of the 3.3p dividend. I wanted more of you to do the same. Sadly you were all posting about topping up in the 79-80 range and the price has barely gone above 82p in the last 3 weeks so no real reason to sell.

Jed you reamin one of my favourite posters. I hope to see you on the live video stream at the AGM. I would say you are more of a distinguished gentleman than "old codger".

Please do not mince words. Ask those waste of space on the Board to resign. Somebody has to take the fall for the share price crashing since ITVX announcement.

Jed I sold up here back on ex divi day for 80.1 after collecting the dividend. I bought back for 77.9. It has taken three weeks of waiting patiently. Did you hear me crying and accusing other people of doing the wrong thing?

Start of the AGM week and the price is now at a 1 month low.

Nobody has any confidence in the BoD to deliver new ideas or direction on Thursday. Just a bunch of has beens in dated old suits collecting salaries and bonuses way beyond their ability.

Younger, media savvy and creative people needed to run this company. Then 1-2 city people who understand how to move the share price to reflect the real value of the company.

Even the reserve team must be better than this current 1st team

Nige of course will be back today. It is what he does. Tries to put a positive spin on his losses and make out he is not really any good at this.

Buying ITV at £1.70 and selling at 80p and not telling everyone he was walking away from itv after years of failed ramping. That is Nigeco. He never made a penny with ITV.

I have never touched easyjet shares. Do not rate a bargain basement airline. Not where I want my money.

I also repeatedly suggested people get out of this share last summer. Yes I bought some shares in February 2022 and sold them on quickly.

Wait and see what the Dame offers to share holders at the AGM on Thursday. If she treats us all with disdain and looks after the employees and BoD only then be prepared to walk. A special dividend is not the way back here. Neither is buybacks, but she has to acknowledge dire valuation of the company and prioritise fixing it.

After that I would love people to post investment strategies. Nigecoward exited silently after tellign everyone to buy ITV for years and failed to share his good luck with everyone else.

That is the nail in the coffin. If Solley is buying then steer well clear.

I made 2% by buying and selling shell today with my ITV funds. Hopefully I can keep that up over the summer and buy 30%-50% more shares here in October.

Jed after the AGM re-evaluate. Without any big announcements you are looking at 5 months of stagnation over the summer. The Dame takes most of the summer off to watch the cricket at Berkhamstead Cricket Club.

Come October this will be down and no further dividends until end of the month.

I am in for 2x dividends at Shell. May 18th and August. Will be trading there for the most part trying to pick up additional numbers of shares. Come September/ October I will look to come back here and hopefully prices will be in 70s or 60s leading to a big upswing going into Full year results in February.

I still hold 100k shares here so not totally out.

Jed it has failed to go below 80 for a long time. This is now a new movement. Maybe the starts of the summer slide that saw this fall to 53p last year.

Considerable downside here now and the Dame needs to pull her finger out and make lots of positive statements at the AGM otherwise I fear a sell off.

I am back in SHELL this morning. Under £24 will do me and dividends to collect there every 3 months. I am betting against the Dame doing anything at the AGM.

Peachy my personal take. Sit tight until next Thursdays AGM. There could be a change in direction or announcement that could bring some of the value back to this share.

If the Dame just uses it as a tick box exercise for signing off on all the Boards pay deals and announces nothing new then look to exit and buy back after the summer or even 2024 before the results. 9 months of nothing will follow the AGM unless the Dame pulls something new out of the hat.

Right so where is the money moving right now Contrarian? I hear 100 billion removed from banks. Talks of bitcoin surging. Where do the the old gits who invest here need to put their pension pots?

Meanwhile something in US seems to have spooked markets again. Looks like all FTSE shares falling since 14:30

Well done MC. Long time since anyone posted a Motley Fool article. Click bait nonsense. They turn this out every week.

Try to find an FT article or somewhere reputable with a journalist not just some AI written piece of trash.

Carolyn needs to do an Alan Sugar. Pull her Board of Directors into a board room and ask who they feel was responsible for the disastrous fall in share price after ITVX. Who they think should go. Then fire the @@@@@@. Time to refocus minds and make getting this back up to £1.50 a priority.

Whenever people cannot find a rational explanation they create mythical entities or theories to fill in the gaps.

This trades at 6% yield. It is an unpopular share in an industry that is being squeezed. Shell trades at 3%. Shell is high profit, top of the FTSE. People want to be in something that solid.

This was £1.50 before covid. The FTSE 100 is back beyond pre covid levels. No excuses really the BoD have had 12 months to reassure markets over ITVX and get this back to £1.50

Collectively the board are not doing their job. Bonham Carter and others who pretend to understand the markets have been found out. A good CEO needs to sack the city chums on the board and bring in people who know how to get this back to £1.50. She needs to be ruthless and knife the deadweights in the back. AGM announce the useless board appointees are standing down.

£1.50 is the goal

85p is pretty much a 12 month high if you exclude that strong trading in February. There has to be an easier way to make money than investing it ITV?

Janus, as loathsome as she/he is, is sadly right. Nothing in the Sunday or Saturday papers and financial journalists would be all over this at the slighest whiff of a takeover. It is like that 96p spike back in February. Unexplainable and it will quickly evaporate.

I am going with 81p again on Monday. Hopefully it stays above 80p. Thank god Nigeco is no longer here feeding us the Goldfinger hysteria from the other place. More people with level heads on this forum can only be a good thing. Trupcard and Rylidian will follow up with screams of "shorter" after this post only I am 6'9 and more Alpha male than they will ever be.

I collected the divi and then ditched at 80.1p. Now I just wait and see if I did the right thing.

There are Rylidan's here who would rather adults do not here what other adults are doing in order to make profit. They want others to stagnate here as they do (although Nigeco did a runner without telling anyone).

There is money to be made in this share most of us long term holders have caught on and we buy and sell. No motive other than to make money. I want ITV at £1.50 to £2 but recognise under the Dame it is not going there.

Shauny that brief period at 96 we all did the same. We looked and thought it was going to £1 in a day and then onto £1.20. I was in Belgium. I had my laptop. I just sat back and said the worst thing I could do was to sell and then miss out with what could have been game changing results. The Dame screwed up for the 2nd year running.
