I am the biggest detractor of the Dame on this board. I was here in 2018 saying we had been sold a Dud. I gave her 6 months to settle into the job and we were told no big policy changes until summer 2018. Fair enough. When it came it was more of the same. Just Britbox and expanding into more territories.

Not good enough in 2018 and we have had 5 years of the same inertia. I made the comparison back in 2018 to Dave Lewis when he arrived at Tesco and changed everything about the business overnight. Sold off the jets, axed huge layes of management and stores. Turned the business around.

I saw through the Panto Dame back in 2018. She had no ideas then and has no ideas now. She is a political appointee. A crony who is good at deflecting blame and blagging.

The cheerleaders and rampers, Solley, Nigeco and others were calling me a fool back then. 5 years on everything I said about the Dame has been proven right. She left a child groomer and sexual predator bully staff on her watch.

the dame will just keep on repeating the same lines. she is not to blame. part of an industry wide downturn.

she lacks self awareness and has started believing her own spin. as with schofield she tells everyone she is blameless. there is nothing she could have done different. she is the best ceo and the uks greatest business woman.

the woman is deluded. top of the organisation and like a tsarina, empress or queen who cannot see that the peasants are getting mightily ****ed off. sooner or later she faces the chop.

If you send an email please make the comparison to Vodaphone boss Nick Read who was appointed at a similar time to the Dame. After a 40% drop in Vodaphone share price he resigned. The Dame is refusing to go despite a 60% fall since Crozier announced he was leaving.

Nick Read is in the news today for having pocketed 4million in pay and bonuses 22-23 despite his abysmal performance. We have someone like that here who just keeps on cashing in whilst the share price refuses to go back to pre covid levels and just deflects blame from herself.

what i found amusing from the dame at parliament the other day was she went into great detail about how much money and time she had invested in creating networks and groups where people could speak out. she has spent 5 years creating a whistleblowing culture. a great environment to work and somewhere where people love their job. lgbt groups, black groups, disabled groups, irish, scottish, short people and old gits.

yet she failed to notice *** men/man grooming underage boys and then bringing them into itv to sexually exploit them when they came of age. amanda holden was bullied off this morning. eamonn holmes and countless others complained but nobody acted.

so she has spent all her time promoting diversity and inclusion and failed abysmally. all that time the share price has been in freefall and the city analysts see her selection as tokenism.

she is now busy covering up the audit trail so that she can keep her job as the share price slides.

For people not up to speed on the last few years at ITV the link posted is intentionally misleading.

The Dame put out the idea that parts of ITV studios might be up for sale back in the autumn. She wanted really just to get a valuation on maybe 10% stake in the studios which would then give a realistic idea of the sum total of ITV which could be closer to 8billion than the current 3billion.

No solid offers came through. Nothing was announced at the AGM or FYR. At the full year results she even stated that ITV studios are not for sale.

So anybody thinking of buying here please be aware that there are no potential suitors stalking ITV. Because of its Public Service Broadcasting and high level of government regulation and scrutiny it would be very difficult for any potential buyer to pass the necessary tests to gain Parliamentary approval to buy out the broadcaster.

My advice......The Share price is back to where it was this time last year. Look closely at the share price movement June to September 2022. I bought back in here at 56p last year.

Only thing on the current horizon is the external report into Schofield reporting back and possibly, just possibly Members of Parliament may not be satisfied and ask for the Dame to walk. If she goes and takes some of the useless Board members with her we could be up to £1 here and with the right CEO back to pre covid levels of £1.50

The bounce when the Dame and her Board of dimwits have a clear out is going to be huge. 60p to 120p maybe in the next 12 months. Well worth watching and investing here even if you think the Dame is as useful as a housefly.

Lets hope Ofcom and Parliament insist that the PSB licence renewal is dependent on a change in culture at ITV which can only come with new management.

Watch the committee meeting back Solley. Lygo talks about having to let presenters go and reducing their hours and shows. He explains why some former This Morning staff are angry. Somebody should have made the decision in 2019/20 when Phil came out and the rumours were rife that damage limitation was needed. Schofield should have slowly moved from the leading role to just a support act. They should have moved new talent in. Instead the "Do nothing Dame" did FA.

ITV are different to most other privately owned companies. They are dependent on Ofcom and Parliament to renew their PBS license. A license that is up for renewal and where discussions started in May.

If MPs who sit on the committee and Ofcom decide that McCall, Lygo and other are not fit and proper to run a Public service broadcaster. If they deem that the Dame has been asleep at the helm for 5 years whilst the SP has nosedived. They can refuse a license renewal if the current bunch of dimwits refuse to resign.

So never say never. There are people above the Chairman and CEO who can remove a sizeable tranche of ITV's income in minutes and force the Board out.

I want to be back here when they hang out the "Under new management sign". Back to £1.50 within 6 months of the Dame being given her P45.

From what was said yesterday it appears that the one affair with a junior member of staff was successfully swept under the carpet. 12 times they were asked. 12 times they denied. So what caused everything to go so badly wrong in May?

Reading the reporting on Tim Schofields trial, the brother after committing multiple sex acts with boys is meant to have gone to his brother Philip and told him what he had done. Rather than involve the police Philip testified in court that he told his brother to seek counselling and see a GP. So rather than hand his brother over to the police he attempted to continue as normal.

Maybe wrong to speculate but possibly there is a chance that this story will run and is not just finished at one ill advised relationship. Far more damage possibly to the ITV name and the Dame will continue to squirm and claim she knew nothing.

Watch the interviews with Caroline Dinenage after the meeting. You get a real sense of her mood. She says "nobody is accepting responsibility for the culture and mistakes". You can tell she is less than impressed by todays attempt to deflect blame.

Once the investigation is complete you can expect MPs and the Committee to move. You do not get to head up Britains biggest broadcaster without the consent of the political establishment. Carolyn has shown she is not fit and proper on multiple occassions. The share price reflects that.

The select committee will oust the CEO of ITV. The external investigation just bought Mccall time and maybe an extra million.

The Dame knew that grooming had happened. That the victim had been gifted a job at ITV by the high powered employee. She chose to go with a payoff and cover up more than 4 years ago.

Now rather than focus on share price and driving the valuation of ITV up she is busy with the external barrister trying to cover up her history of poor judgements.

By contrast the new CEO where I have moved my money to is busy with a capital markets day tomorrow in New York. 25 years with the company. Internal promotion. He is looking to entice US investors into a supermajor that by contrast to its US equivalents is grossly undervalued. Bernstein research are desribing the event as "probably the most debated single stock event in European energy".

If only Carolyn had the vision to go to New York and talk ITV up to potential investors. Alas she is preoccupied with myopic details about pay offs to staff for sexual exploitation and hiding her own complicity.

Some of you need to look at the detail. The letter is addressed to the Minister for culture media and sport, the head of the select committee and the head of Ofcom. This is not the Dame's choice. They have clearly let her know they are not happy with the situation. Post Saville and Weinstein this kind of thing should not be happening in media and certainly people should not be covering it up.

My guess is that the Dame has sat down with ITV lawyers and they have said to buy time, have a review. It also means at next weeks select committee the ITV participant can just say it is all subject to review and would be wrong to comment.

Come the end of the summer everyone will have their stories straight and maybe Dan Wootton and Eamonn Holmes may have been offered well paid jobs at ITV in return for signing non disclosure agreements.

This is government interfering in a limited company. Would never normally happen but because of its Public sector broadcasting commitment ITV is subject to political scrutiny and control. One of the big reasons US investors and crooks like Murdoch will never buy this commercial arm of the BBC.

Carolyn Mccall has now issued a letter. There will be an external review. An investigation by a barrister.

So that means probably all whatsapp and email will be read. Hopefully the review points out who knew what and who decided to keep Schofield on and pay the victim off.

It is inconceivable that one of the senior execs, most likely Kevin Lygo who was filmed saying "no mistakes" yesterday, would have gone ahead with a payment to the victim of Schofield without clearing it with HR and the CEO.

Disgusting behaviour to leave someone abusing their position like Harvey Weinstein in place in a large company where the same thing could have played out again without their knowledge.

The senior management have a duty of care to staff. They were negligent. They failed. Resignations needed.

lets see the day crozier announced he was stepping down this company was valued at over 8bn. today it is 2.86 billion.

in the last 5 weeks the dame has managed to wipe 500million off the valuation of itv.

even with her masters in politics from university of london she is going to get absolutely crucified by members of paliament for allowing a senior member of staff to groom and then hire a man he was having an inappropriate relationship with. she signed off on a payment to the victim.

itv brand and name is in tatters. most city investors would not touch this company. ****ed up luvvies sexually assaulting or bullying their staff and 0 leadership or hr intervention.

I suggest you look at his linkedin. It shows continuous employment at ITV for over 5 years. April 2019 he moves from This Morning to Loose Women. He stays there until 2021. The Mail, The Sun, The Star all carry details of a payment being made. Would be interesting if MPs demand the date of that payment and the purpose. It certainly is not redundancy.

The Dame has covered up grooming and a casting couch culture that has no place in the modern workplace. She is not fit to run ITV.

Just checked the gentlemans linkedin. He continued at ITV until May 2021 and now works for different studios.

So that was not a redundancy payment.
