You voted to take power from European politicians and hand it over to the British elite. You still have a marginal voice in how the UK is run. The Bank of England and big corporations determine UK policies. So no real taking back of power for the people of England. We have all been enslaved to our feudal overlords since 1066. Just changing the language they speak and mannerisms is a cosmetic change. Most people in the Houses of Parliament will represent the richest norman families who have ruled over us for 900 years.

Then who did you get when you brought back sovereignty? A clown and liar in Boris. Cummings was pulling the strings despite being unelected and he was driving to within sight of GSK's big plant days before they were awarded a huge government contract. Then we had the disaster that was Liz Truss. Ursula von der Leyen would have been a far better choice as PM.

"Thank God we left Europe"? That would need a horse to kick me in the head before I utter those words. Like most remain voters I am educated and travelled. I have lived and worked in 10 countries. I have life experience.

Contrarian talks rubbish? OBR begs to differ. It says imports and exports are way behind where they would have been if we had remained in the EU. 15% lower. It also says that trade deals that have been done since leaving the EU will add 0.1% to GDP.

All of this is very much relevant to ITV as the UK provides the vast majority of the company's earnings. A poorer UK will damage ITV. Part of the fall in Share Price since McCall was appointed CEO is due to the damage done by the Idiot contingent who voted to trash the UK economy.

There was some nice day trades away from here over the last day. Some panic buying and I bought yesterday and already on a 2% rise elsewhere.

I am being very disciplined here. Waiting until late August or if it dips into the 50s before buying back. Then £1 by 2024 when the y hang the "Under new management" sign up over 200 Grays Inn Road.

Ask anyone outside of the UK, outside of Europe and they will tell you that Brexit is the biggest act of collective stupidity. Worse than the French continually demanding a low retirement age and forcing unemployment up for the young.

It is causing increased costs to business and fueling inflation and will destroy jobs and prosperity. Cameron and other remain campaigners told you this but you chose to go with Boris and his chums who have seized power in a coup and then lined their pockets whilst crashing the economy.

You were duped. I was out on the streets in 2016 campaigning against this act of collective self harm.

So you ITV faithful may get an extra reason to cheer at Christmas this year when the Share Price hits £1 and the Dame will be appearing at Hemel Hempstead theatre in Beauty and the Beast.

Sorry missed the 12 weeks part. So timeframe looks to be 3 months from start of July. So end of September we may get a report that shows the Dame knew too much and failed to act.

Another 3 months of indecision and stagnation. Lets hope they use the time wisely to find a competent CEO this time around.

The only place where I have seen a mention of McCall being asked to leave behind the scenes is on that other board that allows idiots to spam all day. Goldfinger who has been promising a buyout for years is now pretending he heard whispers that the Dame is on her way out. His sources have never been right once.

Realistically she is here until the independent investigation comes back. Her pre retirement cushy number is already set up with place in the Lords and on the levelling up board. They will pay her a years salary and she will walk away.

Misogyny my ache. I am guessing I am younger than both baldy and Anon. I still work in the corporate world where 20 somethings have changed everything. It is a womens world even in the investment banks. No misogyny here. I just call out incompetence where I see it.

Bald is still upset that I criticised the Dame's choice of jacket at the FYR. She got the boot from Burberry more than 2 years ago. Surplus to needs and they recognised she is a waste of space. Yet she still wears those dated Burberry brown jackets. Office attire that makes it very hard to take her seriously as someone who is in touch with the modern world and media as a whole. An ex brand ambassador who even though was forced to resign from the board she still clings to their brand.

So Bald do you think Liz Truss was also the victim of misogyny? Forced out by the bank of England because she is female? Not her own failing that she somehow crashed the UK economy in hours?

McCall is talentless. She lacks ideas. Nobody respects her. I gave her six months to turn around a SP that was crashing in 2018 and she did nothing. She let it fall to £1.30 and then after covid she just blames world events and a global downturn.

Not good enough. Burberry saw through her. Time ITV followed their lead and gave the Dame the boot.

May 2018 I was already mightily disappointed with the choice of CEO. Right from the start she offered nothing:

There are hundreds of emails sent complaining about the culture of bullying, exploitation and sexual assaults at ITV. Multiple suicides of ITV contestants and staff since the Dame took over. Any normal corporate entity would be worried but ITV just accepts it has always used and abused the young contestants and presenters for their own gain.

The Dame just refuses to investigate. She knows she is sat on a huge pile of dung but is refusing to do anything to reign the culture of abuse in. The KC was only brought in for Schofield and the runner to buy her time and deflect blame from herself.

There is endless litigation and terrible press coming ITV's way. We had the Kyle suicide, we had Love island suicides, we had X factor contestants saying their lives were ruined and we had Schofield covering up an act of child abuse.

Time we got a real CEO here. One who commands respect and that the abusers will not just fob off with lies. One that the city respects and employees and big media moguls respect.

Panto Dame needs to find her Christmas show and start rehearsing. CEO is not within her skillset.

How could it get worse? Well the X factor former contestants complaints could start to snowball. Katie Waissel is suing Simon Cowell, Rebecca Ferguson is alleging mistreatment. There are rumours of sexual assaults and coercive control from a dozen different sources.

Rebecca Ferguson approached Dame Carolyn and asked for an investigation and was told no.

Powerful people have made kids sign Non disclosure agreements and are threatening legal action. Mccall refuses to acknowledge there was a history of abuse and coersion The truth is that there is no duty of care to ITV staff and show participants. It is the most abusive industry that attracts sexual predators and abusers.

Wide open to litigation and we have a CEO who lets abusers stay on air even after they admit to not reporting child sexual abuse.

Mccall knew Schofield had lied to her repeatedly. She knew he had covered up his brothers criminal activity. Any right minded CEO would have told him to take an extended break after his brothers conviction. Instead she let him back on air and all the This Morning staff were told to shut up and just suffer the stench that came with a man they knew to have groomed runners and pretended that his brothers actions could go unreported.

How is Schofield innocent? He admitted under oath in court that he knew of an act of child sex abuse and he did not report it. In some professions that is now a criminal offence. 3 months he said nothIng and left his brother to commit possible further acts.

Lygo and Mccall would have been informed of this act maybe in advance of the trial of Timothy Schofield. Maybe only once it happened. You cannot just ignore such an act. He should have been pulled from the show. Possibly an investigation and then sacked. Instead they allowed him to go back on air.

April 17th he is allowed back to host the show. Willoughby rightly calls in sick and refuses to work alongside him. Other colleagues do not want to be near a man who covered for a paedophile.

Mccall and Lygo made a serious error of judgement allowing him back on air and putting his co-workers through the turmoil of having to decide if they could work alongside somebody like that.

Mccall and Lygo need to go. Somebody needs to clean up the toxic culture at ITV. This brand is being dragged through the gutter by a CEO who is incapable of leadership despite her title.

Why did the Dame let Schofiled back on air after he took leave of absence to attend his brothers trial? What we found out at the trial was Phillip had knowingly not reported child abuse. Dame Carolyn let him back on air. It was only his co-presenters who made him go:

"In September 2021 the abuser, who was arrested three months later, told his famous brother about performing sex acts with the victim present.

In a statement read during trial, the This Morning presenter said he had invited his brother to visit him in London after receiving a call from him in an "agitated and upset state"."

Anon would Carolyn have had the courage to tell Barrymore to go? It is not like there is evidence against him. He has never been proven guilty. He denies any part in the death. She let Schofield stay on because of lack of evidence. She left Schofield to tarnish the ITV name where as Barrymore was taken straight off air. Nothing new was recorded and then he was sacked.

Phillip Schofield on oath in court admitted his brother came to him and admitted indecent acts with a child. Phil did not report him to the police. He was an accomplice. Barrymore to this day is innocent. Nothing links him to the death of Stuart Lubbock.

Weak and uninspiring leadership from McCall who lets her BoD carry on with their direct reports right under her nose.

Embarassing? You chose to invest in a company that gave us the Jeremy Kyle Show? You admit to reading the Daily Fail? I think the Dame has brought ITV down to the lowest levels of tittle tattle and somebody needs to restore the brand image.

James great to have you here. I hope more ITV people can come forward and reveal the failings of the current CEO. It is important to us as investors to know the kind of culture and environment that the Dame has brought to ITV rather than the spin and waffle that she gave the Select Committee. Hopefully in time MPs get to hear if the Schofield incident is not just a one off and they then call on her to go.

It does not surprise me that her cronies who came over from Easyjet are given special treatment. They get to bring their inappropriate relationships with them and an existing ITV PA misses out on getting the role on merit.

Imagine the scenario. Complaints are made about Schofield grooming a runner. The Dame looks at her immediate circle and sees that half of them are engaged in relationships with similar dynamics. Rather than rock the boat and potentially look like a hypocrite she decides to bury her head in the sand rather than tackle the problem. Kind of like her approach to the share price over 5 years.

Time she went and we got this share back to £1.50. Please all disgruntled ITV employees contribute here as we investors need her gone and our investments in ITV restored.
