NTA's are nothing other than an excuse for overpaid media people to get drunk on shareholders money but interesting reaction to This Morning from industry insiders. Maybe they all have better sources than us and know of a cover up and lies by Lygo and McCall?

The share price has held up pretty well by comparison to last year. My worst fears have not been realised. I have now sold all my ITV funds which were in Shell for the summer (nice vacation). Have collected a dividend there and sold and bought back 3x.

Just looking for an optimum buy back time. Looking at last year it briefly dipped in mid to late September and then it was all positive after that. I wanted 65 as a buy back here but I may have to fork out more. I am convinced that at some point in the future that this has to go back over £1. Just needs the brake released somewhere and this can pick up momentum again.

Contrarian as ever is right. The Dame made big play of the Rugby world cup and advertising revenue it would bring in back at the presentation following the Full Year Results on March 2nd. Told us that Jaguar Land Rover had signed up as the big name. The share price back then was close to 90p.

Now with all that advertising revenue on the books and most slots taken the share price is 70p. Advertising revenue forecasts have been slashed over the last few months.

Good to see more of the sensible posts that Solley wants just a shame they are not keeping up with what was posted back in March.

Janus clearly did not watch the Culture Media and Sport select committee hearing back in June. Very unusual for a CEO of a PLC to get hauled before Parliament. The chair Caroline Dineage even asked McCall why she thought she was there. Very serious matter if Parliament feels it needs to point out the failings of a private company to live up to standards expected of it. Janus is of that older generation who just laughed it off when young groupies queued up outside DJs and rock stars doors. The world has moved on.

That is Lygo! The man who refers to his daytime audience as "Towerblock Traceys" and despite putting Schofield back on air knowing full well that Phil had failed to report child sexual abuse he told Sky news "No mistakes were made".

He was the guy who appeared before the Select Committee with the Dame. The guy who is responsible for the toxic culture and allowing senior staff to proposition the ITV wage slaves.

next ceo needs to enforce stricter standards or behaviour. no banging the minimum wage staff and no more savillesque culture of denial at the top.

I fully understand why holders like Janus and Solley would rather silence the critics. Anyway there has been progress with the inquiry.

The Star reported that Eamonn Holmes had not given evidence. The Mirror then reported he is giving evidence this week. His wife Ruth Langsford has gone awol from Loose Women and called in sick for the week (I am sure Lygo is not pressuring employees to shut their husbands up).

Holmes has gone on record saying of ITV:

"Those in authority had to know what was going on and they thought they would dodge a bullet with this, and they do constantly."

Holly Willoughby has been questioned and is said to have fully complied and co-operated with the official ITV spin after her £1million pay off.

Kevin Lygo whilst partying at the Edinburgh festival said ""She (Mulcahy) has been talking to everybody involved, they take your phone and look at every single text you've ever sent, email, WhatsApp. So, everything is available, lots of interviews, talking to everybody and I hope as soon as possible, but probably in September, she will make that public. " (So his P45 is being prepared by HR).

Once the inquiry reports in then the Select Committee can look to oust Lygo and McCall and hopefully ITV sheds its toxic culture of covering up incompetence and failure.

Yes McCall is all okay....... I was the first on this forum to call her out. She started January 2018 and we were all told to wait a while for announcements of any new initiatives or directions.

The interim results came round in autumn 2018 and we were still waiting. She was still getting her feet under the desk and not one of those CEOs who hit the ground running. She had known she was coming to ITV since summer 2017 but we were still being promied a year later that she had lots of energy and bold initiatives. Worth paying the 3 million + every year for.

Then when it came...... Britbox. The Solley's, Janus and Jed's told us that Britbox was a game changer. It would rival netflix and the big streamers and how wrong we were to question the Dame.

Share price had fallen to £1.50 but the old guard promised us it would go back to £2 shortly. A year rolled by and Britbox was still the great panacea. The cheerleaders here still said do not question the Dame. She is quiet and not one for big gestures they said. They pointed to how Britbox was rolling out in more territories and how it was going to take over the world.

Covid hit and fair enough the future for advertising and revenue looked bleak. Then 2020 to 2021 we had a recovery of sorts. Back to £1.30. People finally thought the Dame might get the price back up to pre-covid levels and prove she is worth one of the highest packages of any CEO in the UK.

Then ITX. Absolute mismanagement of a launch of the streaming platform that was intended to protect the future of ITV. No apologies. No mea culpa. Just spin about how the market analysts do not quite get ITV. We patiently waited for the city analysts to come round. 12 months and the share price remained below the pre ITVX announcement. She should have gone.

Then this year we find out sexual predators have been running amok at ITV. Abusing employees and contestants on show. We find out the Dame could not care less than high paid stars are grooming runners and not reporting acts of child abuse. The Dame goes before the select committee to explain her failures and offers no real apology, spins them lies and just looks to buy herself time and another million by staying on and trying to cover up.

Endless failures since 2018 is the reason I want the Dame gone. Never held any Easyjet shares. Janus just likes to troll forums with made up lies. I guess the investor relations department are snowed under with complaints from small investors and are looking to discredit some of the critics.

So much for Solley's campaign for sensible comments. He is the worst at posting comments that do not relate to anything ITV. Endless personal attacks and feuds against the posters he has imaginary vendettas against. He has never been right with a single prediction

The share price was doing so well. Then Solley posted on here and as ever when Solley speaks the share price dives.

On top of being a miserable old git he also brings bad luck here.

Solley I posted about my source last week. Former advisor to Prime Ministers. Old school chum. Told me Carolyn is living on borrowed time. Her political masters have already decided she is gone. ITV does not operate free from government control and no director general or CEO of major broadcasting companies can be seen to be giving green lights to sexual abuse or the grooming of minors. McCall let an accomplice to paedophilia go back on air despite seeing his testimony in court admitting his part.

I would love to see this back at pre covid levels of 150 but it really needs a good CEO to be ready and waiting once Carolyn realises she cannot continue. At the moment I think the Board of Directors are still in denial and attempting to deflect blame. Ideally they would be forward planning. They would see Carolyn going by the end of 2023 and would be looking for a young 40-50 year old CEO with a lifetime of experience in the streaming and digital media industry to turn this into the production company of choice for the big streamers, whilst maintaining the UK broadcasting purely as a sideline.

Jed is so right. I did not see this jump to over 70p this morning. Quite shocked. I had this going down to 65p.

I need to revise my estimates. Not sure this will go below 60p now this year. More like a 65p low possibly in the next 4 weeks. Then upward trajectory once the Schofield report comes out and the Dame gets the boot.

So 65p by end of September. £1 by FYR in February.

Lets have a rise. Solley promised one and it is not like he is repeating himself and in need of a cognitive assessment.

At 75p the ever so sensible Solley with no evidence to back up his assertion was telling everyone here that a rise was coming. At 130 he was telling everyone to top up as this was going back up to £2.

Keep coming with the personal attacks and calls for us to be silent. It only demonstrates that we are winning and more often than not we are calling this share price right.

Dame will not make it to 2024. I was at a drinks event with a member of the Privy council on Tuesday night. He says it is inconceivable that she stays. He was right on Brexit, Johnson and Liz Truss. It is his job to see which way the wind is blowing.

Baldy and Solley are old guys who have only known the golf club for 20 years.

5 years Jed where those loyal ITV employees cannot cash in those shares they accumulated over decades because somebody thought to appoint a leftie Guardianista who matched their politics rather than a competent business woman.

When will ITV do the right thing and boot the Dame? She failed to remove an accomplice to paedophilia because she wants to be seen as inclusive. Saville would have run rings around a weak Carolyn McCall.

Thank you Jed. So you acknowledge some of the worst affected are the ITV lifers who thought steadily buying shares in the company was a good investment. How was their loyalty rewarded? An ex Guardian employee who is more political than business was appointed and she halved their investment and is totally incapabale of restoring it.

Time to give up on her. Get somebody competent in and the Dame can go back to kissing up to friends in the political establishment. Business world sees her for the chancer she is. Even the select committee looked visibly annoyed by her unwillingness to admit fault and be straight with them.

ITV employees and retired colleagues who have been steadily investing in the company shares over the decades. Looked to be a solid retirement pot and obviously they were encouraged to invest in the company they work for. Then along comes "Britains greatest ever business woman" and in 5 years rather than add to the value of their overall investment she has managed to halve it. If they cash those shares in to fund a dream project they cannot as the Dame has wiped out their investment.

She needs to do the walk of shame rather than continue to collect millions in shares she cashes in at the first opportunity.

Good for you Jed. How many current ITV employees, retired ITV employees and people who bought ITV as a pension are currently way down on their original investment and suffering? The small retail investors have neem stung whilst the SP has been forced lower by big investors and the ITV Board have remained weak and powerless to stop the rot.

schofield the paedophile stopped offending in october 2019. his brother the tv celebrity comes out as *** in february 2020..... was somebody blackmailing the itv employee? what did timothy know about phillip? what did itv management know about the sordid relationship between the two brothers.? the damage to itv brand could be huge if it turns out they ignored this for years and allowed the sham "coming out" as a means to distract people from something more sinister
