Oh dear. Which ITV exec dreamt up the idea of bringing Schofield back as a housemate in a future "Celebrity Big Brother" House. The same guy who thought it was acceptable to put Savile in the House??? Ofcom and the Select Committee are being made to look weak and toothless by certain media moguls playing fast and loose. So desperate to life the share price and go for high ratings they are willing to risk their Public broadcaster license.

It is in the Sun so of course it is just pure fantasy.

Holly was fine. A bit weak and bland like many of the other This Morning presenters. Phil was the big personality and replacing him is going to be hard. Not many male presenters who have that presence.

Graham Norton and Susanna Reid would be the dream team but no way they would give up what they currently do to downgrade to fluffy daytime

Before anyone does. The slots were all filled months ago. Money is already accounted for and will show at interim results on Thursday so no big boost.

Janus you are premature again. I did say end of the month. Still a good two weeks to go and everything starts to move after Thursday's plot twists are revealed (turns out the runners silence was bought). Schofield groomergate is going to make such a good drama.

Almost a 12 month low with ITV now. This time last year it was turning and we saw growth all the way through to the Full Year Results. That one afternoon when it went to 96 and so many of us held hoping it would go back above £1.

I so wish they would sell 10% of the studios off to private investors and use the money strategically to buy more studios or even technology. Anything that would force down a realistic valuation of ITV assets.

Jed it is not helpful to post that the divi is coming in November when the cut off date is next Thursday. Anyone who wants that 1.7p payment for a 66p investment needs in before close on Wednesday.

I am hoping the dive today is just another poop and scoop by the big holders who own most of ITV. Loading up on cheap shares. Hopefully they have astute financial analysts who are telling them that chnage is coming down. Hopefully next week is nothing but gains.

I was at an offshoot of ITV the other day. Huge studio. They are cutting back. Employee perks being reduced. Times are hard despite the claims here that studios are doing well.

Lovely of Baldy to try to draw a comparison with my posts about the Dame wishing she would resign and some nutjob stalker wanting to kidnap Holly Willoughby. Huge stretch of the imagination but not the first time they have tried this tactic. They cannot argue with the 200 to 70p price crash under the Dame so they try to deflect with accusations of stalking and misogyny.

Anyway one week to interim results. Schofield inquiry is going to name people who knew about Phil and his dodgy brother and failed to act. Very interesting watching "The Reckoning" and how the lawyer appointed to investigate Saville failed the 15 yr old who killed herself. Saville was even photographed groping the underage girls bum but media people just covered it up.

Lygo and McCall need to go next week. £1 by Christmas if they go.

Get to the end of the article and it says the drama focusses on 2006 and Saville's appearance on Big Brother. A number of his victims after seeing him parading around on TV in 2006 came forward with allegations which were not acted on.

It seems crazy that Channel 4 gave him the air time in 2006 when the culture had shifted and everyone seemd to have heard something. Then you remember who was Director of Television and Content at Channel 4 in those years. The man who gave Russell Brands style of humour a chance. The man who thought to put Barrymore, Galloway (no dirt on him) and Saville together in a house for ratings.

He must have heard rumours about Saville. He must have been privy to conversations. Yes it is merely a terrible oversight that can only be seen now with hindsight. He clearly is a great creative talent but Brand, Saville, Schofield. The man is taking risks which are potentially damaging to the broadcasters who go with his wild ideas of how to create entertainment.

Sorry Kevin but too many mistakes.....

I have my sources Janus. The price is picking up as I predicted. Come interim results day we can expect the Schofield report and a certain announcement (6 years of suffering to end).

The markets are not in freefall. Small downward movement after 1 month of growth. FTSE is just readjusting. ITV is posting double the losses of the FTSE 100 everyday.

I am going to guess that ITV staff are observing the fallout of the Schofield inquiry hitting senior managers inbox. Urgent and frantic meetings happening. Everyone getting called in. The observers on the floor who are not privy to the meetings are maybe talking. Word gets out to family, word gets through to big investors. Us small guys hear nothing but just maybe there are rumours circulating as to how bad the mistakes are and the reputational damage it will cause to ITV.

We might be in for another week of front page tabloid news.

July 6th it went lower than this. It is a feature of this share. It drops for no obvious reason. Poop and scoop is a possibility where somehow the big owners force this down and wait for panic buys amongst the small investors and then they buy more at lower prices.

Two weeks to ex dividend day. Somebody is getting a bargain price and will possibly sell the shares at 70p + on the 19th after collecting the dividend.

I just bought more 66.66 lets me buy 3 for £2. Every year the Dame gifts us cheap shares.

So FTSE 100 (yes ITV is not even in that index) is down by 0.54%.

ITV is down 1.83% on no real news.

Why do people sell this share so much on the slightest of dips?
