I have a high level of education and hopefully write in a good and positive way on these boards and yet all I can decypher from Pogo posts in nonsense. Poorly constructed sentences that lack meaning and do not have any use of irony.

Pogo talks about budgets for advertising increasing and wrongly equates that to an increase in ITV advertising. False logic.

ITV market share for free view has been falling consistently. The Dame has done nothing to reverse that. Even if advertising budgets increase a greater percentage of that money will go to online platforms and away from traditional media.

His comments about immigration and social decline are interesting as he himslef is an immigrant and from a country where his compatriots are permitted under law to gather and parade in SS uniforms.

Your statement about US politics shows how deluded you are. Trump is coasting now to an easy victory. Messianic Trump. Risen from the dead. He will win a crushing victory. Democrats are saying he will win the Senate and might also take the House of Representatives. War in Ukraine is over. Zelensky is begging for peace terms.

Adjust to the new reality. I do not like Trump but he is the next President. Last time around he did not start any wars where as under Biden's watch we have all moved much closer to nuclear war.

The numbers this time around will look good. Last year was disastrous. Massive advertising downturn and huge fall in profit for 2023. This quarter in comparison to the same quarter as last year could well be back to 2022 levels. Euros can only have boosted revenue.

McCall's predictions in March were for a fairly flat first two quarters and then lots in the pipeline for a much stronger 2nd half.

So a 10%+ increase in ad sales on last year. Add the Euros to that and you could see a much better performance than Q2 2023.

I hear you OMalley. We come from different sides when it comes to politics but we both recognise that the political elite have been robbing us blind. On top of that a certain Dame has been collecting bonuses that are unmerited as she has failed to grow the company and it revenue.

Then we have the huge amounts of tax payers money that have gone for a war in the East where assassination programmes have been setup and the funds have resurfaced in the UK stock market as corrupt money launderers move their money through proxies.

Time to clean up and get rid of the rampers who are gambling on UK shares.
