Pogo backstory gets more interesting by the minute. He lost 1 million dollars,. He learnt from that and is no longer a gambler. He acknoledges that he was/is stupid. He now puts all his money into one share and a highly volatile share.

He is not a gambler but is betting on £1 by the end of the year. Despite streamers setting up to steal ITV's advertisers from under them. If Tubi can do it then all broadcasters can flood the UK market with offerings.

Interestingly my girlfriend (Russian and glamorous) told me that during her medical studies in Moscow they were taught about a village in Ukraine where the baby boys were purposely dropped on their heads repeatedly to toughen them up. Tubi is a flop????? I suggest you read up. Over 80 million active users. All they need to do is make it available from UK devices and advertisers will start palcing adverts. It has been running for much longer than ITVX and the technology and AI is more advanced.

My personal opinion: It is Game Over for ITVX. No free to air from ITV in 10 years as it will be bullied out of the market by bigger players. Only the studios will be left and that is where the big streamers may make a move to buy the assets from ITV.

Jed any thought on Tubi? It is big in North America. There is only a small pool for advertising in the UK. Does this mean Tubi will steal advertisers from ITV? Can we expect to see a faster decline in ad revenues and more and more shows becoming unprofitable?

Disappointing. I read the news early this morning but then went into London for a busy day of work. I expected some good and informed debate on this forum but almost nothing. Every week he posts a 5-10p increase. One week out of 20 he might just get it right.
