The Ad market has been on a downward trend for years. One quarter where it is not falling does not mean the Dame has restored revenue.

Look to the past rather than listen to rampers predictions. For the past two years the SP has fallen between August and November. Nothing suggests that this year will be different. The buybacks are in place but they have added an extra 20p to the SP. The shorts will return as the Autumn season fails to draw audiences and as the next results fail to match 2023 Rugby World Cup figures.

On a different note I watched "Hell Jumpers" last night on BBC2. Amazing documentary put together with real footage from Ukraine. Terrifying stuff to watch British volunteers going into no mans land.

If only ITV still made hard hitting documentaries.

Pogo with his great knowledge of mathematics could not see the market adjustment after results. Many of the other commentators on the board have learnt from experience. Experience and wisdom beat Pogo's analytical but anti semitic brain.

Solley whatever remarks I make here will have 0 effect on the share price. The same for the rest of the contributors to this board. This is about pooling of knowledge and trying to get us all ahead by making wise choices. You are continually trying to shut down opinion you do not agree with.

Why are people surprised by the drop???? It happens everytime. ITV can post record profits and viewing figures on ITVX and yet the markets will ditch. They want more than just the mediocre performance that the Dame can achieve with ITV.

Studio expansion and massive increases in revenue and profits are achievable just not with the Guardianista Dame who knows how to run a leftie paper but has no clue about growing a business.

As predicted it has hit 78 a few times today. 2 out of 3 of my predictions for today are met. Final one was for share price to finish at 79.

Winnie, Captain Pogwash and Janus need to buy me a bottle of Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque. If they had followed my advice they would be 10,000s better off today.

Deaths in police custody? Biggest threat that anyone faces in public is a police officer approaching you. Refuse to entertain any questions. Ask if you are detained. Walk away if not detained.

Profits rose after they took big stars off the payroll. Now the revenues will follow them out the door.

Do not buy this share at these highs. ITV is led by a corrupt cabal of cronies who take millions in free shares and bonuses and yet wipe billions off the valuation of the company.

This is peak ITV. Without the buybacks this would be 55-60.

Media. Studios everywhere. The Board, CEO, CFO should all be taking interviews every week with financial journalists and being highly visible on business news. Talking up ITV.

Instead they are work from home and in teams chats with each other. Barely hear a word from them and then when results come around the business journalists and analysts are anything but impressed. Mass sell off ensues.

Anyway too late now for the holders who have been duped into believing £1 is in the not too distant future. Tomorrow you have to face another mediocre set of results that see everyone switch off and walk away from ITV.

Sack the Dame

SP collapses =McCall and EZJ cronies still pocket money.

City whispers have it that ITV is being run by a bunch of Guardian loving media people who care little for profit and only about all expenses paid corporate events with chums.

Why should they be like O Leary and talking to journalists to explain falling revenue and profit and how they intend to rectify those mistakes. Champagne is on ice and the shareholders are just the unwashed who need only crumbs.

Ryanair profits slump is interesting to watch. The reaction of Michael O Leary is something McCall should follow. He admits fault. Identifies the reasons and says how Ryanair will address the issue and talks of a price war which will only encourage people to buy. He creates positive PR out of a halving of profits.

With ITV we get precious little. Delivery of results and then the Dame who is on a guaranteed bonus (not performance related) goes silent and vanishes for another 6 months. Not good enough really. She needs to be out there creating the stories and positive feeling about ITV.
