Knowlesi .. I would think LD would agree that scancells IP has merely been sitting on a shelf for 4 years .. more known now than ever about ‘recruiting the right patients’

Would be amazing if LD and her team was turning cancer treatment into an exact science rather than the hit and hope science it currently is !

Lol .. yes, Hartlepool is not renouned for its good weather , although the Tees Bay is 2 degrees warmer than it should be due to the Nuclear Powerstation out flow !! The only nuclear powerstation to be built within an area of high population density !!

Knowlesi .. we are witnessing, live, the dawn of the future of cancer treatment ! It was never going to happen overnight but the advances we are seeing now will cause the birth of new companies and the death of those who didn’t keep up or stayed locked into products they have invested billions in and can’t let go !

New fresh organisations like BioNTech are exactly the type of biotech I think scancell should ally with rather than being bled dry by a Pharma behemoth (at this stage) .. everything for nothing style!

It is an exciting time ! And scancell think so too!

Off topic … this deal is a very early stage collab … does anyone know if it is with the v1 or v2 device. Having e-mailed the company it turns out the study in South Korea (below) is using the v1 device and not the v2 device as I had assumed !

Fascinating that scancell are determined to use the more 'commercial' v2 device being used in Germany, UK and Belgium but Ichor continue to use the v1 device in parallel?

I wonder which one AstraZeneca will use.

However, it is great that Big Pharma are 'following' scancells interest in electroporation with Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson and now AstraZeneca now working with the company.

Delivery is only part of the story though as we all know !

I think the H1 2019 date was referring to the (hopeful) start of patient recruitment for the scib1 combo trial .. (FDA willing) .. not sure there has been a date as such for any follow on BioNTech news?
