Amazing how little has come out of Aduro after having had so much cash ...

Similar to several unicorn biotechs .. however, I think there is more value in proving ‘your’ tech up first, before doing deals on it ... the down side of this is of course you need to raise the considerable amount of cash yourself at the mercy of the market traders!

In short .. the advances in understanding across the wider industry are reinforcing LD’s and scancells work !

With the ‘industry’ learning more all the time and remembering that keytruda is certainly not harmless in itself .. I think the management of the scib1 keytruda combo trial will be better now than it would have been even 2 years ago !

There is no doubt now that products like Keytruda do work best where there is an element of the tumour ‘protecting itself’

I wonder if Merck itself is also awaiting some early results in the combo trial !!?? Come on fda ! Europe is using trigrid v2 with seemingly no issues yet ... pull your finger out lol !!

I’d suggest both appointments are to ‘fill in’ knowledge gaps ..

Looks to me like scancell mean business and are not interested in ‘everything for nothing’ deals ...

RE: Samantha Paston .. Her work in trying to understand t-cell mechanisms is considerable and one can only imagine the discussions possible between her and Lindy Durrant !

For her to move away from IMMTACS to want to be involved with Moditope (and immunobody) is I suggest a more potent message to those in the dark about the 'science' than not being selected in the GC ...
