Quietest morning ever on an RNS day .. but I guess this wasn’t new news .. just another intellectual sort suffering from confirmation bias wanting to be part of the scancell story !!

I have fallen victim to the confirmation bias trap ! Was hoping for a large chunk of shares in the 3's !! So .. What to do now ? Hmmm ..

Great scancell has yet again raised a meaningful amount of cash .. Total shares in issue is creeping up but being managed carefully in my opinion ...

Sorry, can’t help you with that one ..Not really interested in the financial gymnastics of Val .. looking at its history you can quickly see it hasn’t been a good ride for shareholders .. only quick traders.. who really only make pocket change?

Back to the scib1 patients .. when chatting to Richard Goodfellow at their AGM 3 years ago, he said and I quote “We may have cured some of these patients.”

I’m inclined to agree with him !

Morning ! Indeed and just as striking, It looks like all melanoma free patients are still melanoma free .. some getting out to 80 months now ! and all patients still on the ‘study’ now beyond 60 months !

Some achievement in late stage patients eh !

Most big pharma would love that to be their data I’m sure !

Got a copy of the ft and yes, good to see scancell covered .. The only shame is that the main story splashed all over the same paper is the Woodford saga!! Scancell just don’t seem to get much luck eh .. sentiment in the biotech sector is not helped at all by such stories ! But , I think it won’t be ‘sentiment’ that determines Scancells fate but science !

Scancell have never used the shockingly toxic dilution tactics used by some biotech bods.. I think scancell use the cash they raise sensibly and efficiently .. actually I’ve been planning for a fund raise by moving some cash into a stocks and shares ISA ready for exactly such an event should it occur ! Happy to support the company directly still if I get the opportunity !

If I was a VAL shareholder for instance .. Id be having doubts about doing the same ?

Greetings all! Back from our very relaxing week in Wales .. I briefly watched breakfast TV this morning when they do ‘The Papers’ slot ..

One of the articles discussed was a blood test (no specific names given) to give an indication as to which treatment choice was best for your specific cancer.

It struck me that as the discussion went on there is an awareness out there as to the advances in understanding, particularly in the area of (and the word they used this morning) personalised treatments !

Big Pharma must be looking very closely at the future ... never before has the ‘rate of increasing understanding’ curve been as steep as it is now .... and I believe more than the aim market does that Scancell is near the front of that curve !

Only my opinion as ever ...
