Suddenly .. vaccines are all the rage !! That’s a good thing right ??

... but in my opinion ... a rushed vaccine has less chance of success than a well researched and developed one ... but then again, I would say that wouldn’t I !??

Whilst no data is yet available on re infection rates .. having followed immunotherapy for several years I’d be very surprised if having the illness does not teach the immune system anything ... I’d say as as species if it didn’t then we are in big trouble and what’s the point in trying to create a vaccine if the virus itself doesn’t confer any immunity !???

By the time anyone manages to produce a covid 19 specific vaccine .. one wonders if it will be needed ? Herd immunity is nature’s response to specific viral infections .. covid 19 not being the first ... the question really is .. can we be better prepared for the next one ..... ???

So scancell extend their science from Cancer to anti viral treatments and you can’t see why this should add value ??

I wonder if the “Covidity” trial will be targeted at patients already suffering from the disease rather than in a ‘healthy’ population ... and as such any statistical improvement will be arrived at much sooner than a healthy population trial ?? And cost much less ??

The development and early testing of a dna vaccine needs to be thorough .. there will be things like delivery method to be considered of course .. once you start a trial there is no going back to change anything .. other than start again ..
