Interesting report in today’s news revolving around ‘antibody immunity’ only lasting months .... not a mention of a t-cell anywhere .. however, apparently Llama antibodies may help !?

And I think the point has been made that Cancer cells are normal cells gone wrong so very hard to target, but virus’ are foreign so technically ‘easier’ to target from scancells point of view ??

The market doesn’t seem to rate scancell but some very well connected scientists do !?

Time will tell and surely the best time to back a winner is when nobody else does ! Lol ..

Lindy noticed all these modifications in stresses cells, and scancell own the ‘invention’ of using them as targets for the immune system ... they were (I think) turned down due to lack of experimental evidence as the scancell team had put more work into citrullination (from memory) ... but I think those avenues are not ‘dead’ ...

Berm, that’s an interesting point ... because they were mentioned in the original patent application and scancell chose to focus their efforts on citruillination .. does that mean someone else can hijack the other PTM’s .... or do scancell own the right to do this solely at some point in the future?

I’ve no idea when or where funding will come from (if at all!) and at what cost to shareholders If it does arrive .. however, if I get the opportunity to put a few more pence in scancells pot ... I will be !!

Interesting comment in there about ‘if’ both oxfords and imperials fail their trials the U.K. will be at the back of the queue for others’ vaccines ... which makes it astonishing that the U.K. gov have only invested in 2 that we know of !??

Immunobody is the platform from which vaccines are created .. once created scancell can slap a composition of matter patent on the product protecting long after the immunobody patent expires .. they may well tweak the patent which could extend it but plenty of protection for future vaccines anyway !?
