Not sure why you are so obsessed with that previous post. I think the majority on here are now keeping their fingers and toes crossed that we get good news on AVA6k... (or LG chem or any of the other exciting partnerships). I think my position is clear. Really like the tech but wont excuse the total failure from AS to exploit the LFT opportunity

I hope it comes good also however, that doesn't change my view that the all round performance from our CEO (his guidance, his timelines, his lack of real delivery) is excusable and those that feel this way should not be categorized as traders/derampers. These concerns are legitimate and I thought these boards were designed to discuss such topics.

For me I cant believe anyone who invested here based on guidance from AS concerning the LFT can be happy.

We are bang in the middle of a 4th wave (very lucky from a testing demand perspective by the way), trading at 104p (for me this equates to >50% down) and have no clue about the progress or otherwise related to;

- ABDX TT (why has this taken years when guidance from CEO over a year ago was that it was weeks away?) - is it acceptable for AS to keep us in the dark?
- No idea on the volumes available with GAD (currently our only manufacturing partner) - you can blame UK Gov all you want but right now there is no evidence that we have any manufacturing capacity beyond GAD, and we have no clue on the capacity available with GAD - a shocking state of affairs when the CEO initially guided the market on 5-30m
- No idea when HUA was submitted (not sure why we cannot disclose this)
- EU manufac TT? Was vague at the beginning but now complete silence again
- ASIA PAC customers - complete silence
- ASIA PAC TT - complete silence
- Discussions with over 24 end users (silence)

If AS feels we are being treated unfairly by UK Gov, why is he silent about it? For me that is not acceptable.

How can you defend the silence here? If AS had not ramped like crazy I'd only have myself to blame, but AS guided the market on the above and as far as I see nothig at all has materilised.

I dont have any doubts that the Affimer IP is worth a great deal more than our current market cap but I do have real doubts that AS can maximise the value for us.

As it evident with the share price, we will no longer move on any rumour / positive speculation - we need real delivery from AS so good luck to us all.

Asia pac was also for interested buyers, who had apparently approached us directly. AS also stated that regulatory barriers to Asia pac were minimal.

Where are we with this? Why are we in the dark?

For example, Asia Pac. Do you recall we had received lots of interest from customers in Asia?? Another baseless ramp from AS or failure of AS to monitise??

There is a big world out there beyond the UK market!!

Eastside, has he really delivered the LFT? he hasn't even completed TT with his primary manufacturing partner. We are completely dependent on volumes available from GAD. He has also left us completely dependent on regulatory approvals. Why no contingency plan to ensure that we exploit the opportunity eg licence the tech.

I really do hope that he delivers, I have a huge amount riding on it.

Ripley, it's OK to rate the tech and dislike the management.

Try to be open minded and have a deep think about how this has played out.

Add David Wilson to the list of failures also. Apart from his interviews what value is he adding?
We need new energy and new direction in order to exploit this opportunity while it is here.

Mr Ripley, I appreciate that there are challenges but AS gets compensated very well to deliver for shareholders. Has AS delivered or failed to deliver the LFT?

Mr Ripley, you keep referring to the UK diagnostics industry and seem to ignore that Avacta are a technology company that should not be restricted to the UK. The IP should be easily exploitable in multiple geographies, not the same as the UK manufacturers such as odx, abdx, etc but Avacta have totally failed to exploit anything.

The only way I see me getting my money back is if AS actually delivers. There is not a chance that posters like you who continue to post about an imminnent HUA every single day are going to change things!!!

Why have I stopped ramping? Becuase, AVA6k aside, it's impossible to ramp the LFT. Whether you can admit it or not AS has completely failed to deliver for shareholders and I think it's time we as shareholders held him to account. As shareholders we own this IP and its for AS to deliver. Are you confident he can deliver? 4th wave and 2 years later, no tt completed at all with anyone. I certainly am not confident hmkn his ability

Mr Ripley, I find it hard to have any faith that Avacta are going to deliver on the LFT.

Why haven't Avacta licenced the test / technology? We could have made a killing during this 4th wave. There is no excuse. A complete failure to generate even 1% of the revenues that were there for the taking. I'm massively underwater here due to AS failure to monitise the technology.

Omicron reinfection risk 5.4 times higher than Delta - study
Some more now on the study we reported on earlier from Imperial College London.

Their researchers say the risk of reinfection with the Omicron variant is 5.4 times greater than with the Delta variant.

The study suggests protection against reinfection by Omicron from past infection may be as low as 19%.

Wow, another 93k cases today.... None of which are yet spilling into icu.
