Elk, FYI Sky have had a VR app since 2016 they are also currently building 70k sqft tech hub focusing on VR!!! BT sport have had VR availability for a while now too. Most of the big companies have dipped their toe into VR already but you wont here have heard much about any of it outside of tech websites etc.

For what it’s worth, before I was invested in EVRH by chance and without having to dig for info I spoke at length to someone that knows Anthony and Steven personally and they had absolutely nothing but kind words to say about them both. It sounded very much like they have put a lot of hard work into the company behind the scenes over the last 3 years and not one single mention of them suggested they are the type of people that are just in this for money and will disappear or do any kind of dodgy deals behind closed doors. From what I was told I was very much expecting them to sell some shares considering they hadn’t really taken much from the company in the years leading up to launch and it sounded like they served it. So even that when speculated here as being odd they would sell from the perspective I was given should have probably been expected almost as their reward for the last three years of work. As I said this was what I could make out from someone that knows them and not any personal connection of my own. The kind words they had for the both of them though were one of the many reasons I decided to make MelodyVR my first investment.

Urban probably not. As I said early they were not using the same cameras and also anycompany could have been contracted by AEG to do that job for the evening. A few small companies out there that provide VR content broadcasts and I suspect it was someone like that.

Personally I think everyone here has led themselves up the garden path for a connection to Facebook. They clearly had an NDA to stop MVR announcing the app release date compromising the Oculus GO announcement and release date. Why Any of you think there are still anymore ties I don't know. Literally nothing to suggest anything more than a partnership with Oculus for having the app on their platform store and that is it. Someone provide some concrete info to suggest anything other than that....... I'm yet to see it. If I'm wrong I'm happy to eat my hat.

All Venues chat was speculation anyway simply from the MVR community, the tweet seemed coincidental at the time but before that there was very little to suggest MVR had any involvmnet. Lets not forgot what the last RNS actually said too: "We will also announce our first live concerts, which will enable music fans to purchase digital-tickets to sold-out real world events, in VR, via the MelodyVR platform." the key bit there is the last 4 words :) I cant wait for this app to develop into its full potential with all of the upcoming features, based on all of the public info so far the app is bare bones currently. Long term holding this and watching it grow is going to be fun, especially if you are into VR and want to use the app itself.

If you head over to Instagram you can find plenty of photos from last night and what appear to be the VR cameras are different to the ones we usually see MVR use. They could be different for live events however I would have thought they would use the same ones. Also the cameras used last night appear to have been 180 footage via dual lenses side by side rather than the 360 views by spherical domes we see MVR use. Their tweet regarding Vance playing on the 31st still doesn't make sense though.I don't think there is any new content on the App.

NextVR have been live broadcasting for a while now all be it not in venues and have publically announced the partnership. This would be MVR’s first live stream so maybe it’s being kept low profile to see how they cope technically almost like a live public test? Again no mention of any of this in an RNS or to the press which puts me a little on the fence but we will find out shortly.

What doesn't add up is why we have not had an RNS stating any of this should MVR be involved however the Venues Schedule has only just been Announced so could be under an NDA?

Looking at further event scheduling Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and The Head And The Heart will be on Venues who are signed to Warner Bros. Coincidence maybe... I'm sure we will find out first but what I did notice from this article was info regarding the viewing modes which I was on about yesterday and sceptical. Basically there are two modes to view, social which will be like the grandstand view we have seen or solo which I guess would be more like MVR's recorded content. This would make more sense with the different view points to switch between. Again I really am on the fence if MVR will be powering this but it is a bit of a coincidence. Same thought Speculator, a tad early really but I have registered interest via the app. Maybe I will go bed early and get up crazy early! Bigger question regarding venues, are the events free or paid for... you would assume paid for but very little info out there. Also the wording of the MVR post suggests a live viewing rather than pre recorded content? Or I'm reading too much into it. "Playing soon on MelodyVR..."

Time for a bit of speculation: So looks like Xiaomi have teased a VR launch tomorrow but no news of what it is. Well nowhere is speculating it is the Mi VR standalone headset (China specific GO) that they have partnered with Oculus on but it has never had a release date announced so maybe that is what the product is...? Would make sense considering the GO is out worldwide in select countries right now. Reason I have bought this up is because the Mi VR headset will use the Oculus powered app store allowing developers easily porting their current Oculus GO/Gear VR apps to the specific china store and they have expressed they want to bring over some of the GO's top apps for launch for obvious reasons. Considering MVR have had a big involvement with Oculus I'm seriously hoping for an announcement that MVR will be made available on the Mi VR store for its launch opening MVR up to the Chinese market which I would actually expect to be more lucrative than the west. Lets see what they announce tomorrow, surely the Mi VR release is coming very soon though!

Strictly, agreed. Elkinatir also a good point and one I have also hoped to see in the future. The whole venues integration doesn't bother me so much at the moment, I like the concept but something looks off about venues. If you see screen shots or video from the avatars perspective the content looks huge so not like you are really there but more like watching a half wrapped around cinema screen. However I will reserve judgement for when I have actually tried it. If it turns out better than it looks or I expect I will probably hope MVR end up providing content but we will see.

If people had it their way they would ask for good news everyday of their investment life for the price to go up in a straight line but lets be realistic it doesn't work like that. If or when we reach the next ATH's there will be a retracment of some percentage and the usual's will start voicing concerns as if it should just keep going up forever. As I mentioned yesterday and so have others recently, plenty of confirmed news worthy features and events yet to materialise. No reason for the price right now to significantly move from where it is whether that be up or down. If it were to randomly jump up for no reason I would be a little concerned as to why and if it would be sustainable! All I think I am seeing is ATH prices and volumes reached on speculation and pre/post launch resulting in profits being taken post and a natural slip of the share price from all of the short term traders, panicers and long term holders taking profits with substantially good returns. Also maybe a bit of MM manipulation to recover some cheap stock after such a short term large increase in price. I think the current decreased volume hopefully supports my hope that many of above listed investors have exited the stock until its next move should that come for whatever reason. Hoping that this price is roughly a base price that would only slip slowly off the back of no news or content released. I can't see what would cause a huge drop from this level other than a little manipulation causing panic sell off.

Hi Hobbit01, Interesting read, thanks for the technical insight and opinion. Sitting here in the UK with thoughts of bandwidth for 8K makes me baulk! The UK seems to barely cope with 4K let alone 8. Internet infrastructure in the UK is pathetic whether that be mobile or broadband and is definitely something that will be a hindrance to VR's development, not just here but all over the world.
