I think that is their earning since releasing it on the first platform which was for PC VR and then on the PSVR last year.

Why would people want to spend time in VR at a festival/concert etc when they are there? The Whole point of MelodyVR is to allow you to be at those place if you cant make it not to look at a virtual version of the place you are standing in at that moment?

Nobody knows and incredibly difficult to predict as there is no comparison or historical data to go off based on any similar offerings out there. Your guess would be as good as anyone's.

Elkinator loads of different names appear daily and they all appear dependant on what the price is doing, the usual's are still here though but since increased exposure and activity I have noticed a few don't appear so much considering the daily talk here is nearly always regarding the price and that's about it.

I have noticed the quality varies on a few different ones and I suspect the more recent recordings are on newer more developed cameras and improved post processing. Some of these shows are over a year old and they may not be as good as current recordings. This will also be a trend going forward as VR camera technology improves more and more.

Wheelman Speak for yourself, calling people thick for not selling yesterday is ridiculous. Everyone has their own strategy and profit targets etc. I am not trading or dealing or whatever you want to call it and have accumulated an amount I'm happy to keep for the next couple years dependant on how the company and VR develops and I will adjust my holdings accordingly, it certainly doesn't make me thick for not selling yesterday. Not just you but for everyone why don't you all keep your opinion OF OTHER PEOPLES DECISIONS TO SELL OR BUY to yourselves. Throw predictions out there of price movement of info regarding the company or the industry but why concern yourselves with others decisions to buy or sell.

Themis, thanks for this, good spot. One would think that they are a potential to invest in EVRH, I guess the next 6 weeks will tell. Compared to their investment in VRE I feel this has a much more lucrative potential than VRE in the shorter and longer term. That's not Knocking VRE, they are certainly a company I will be investing in for a LTH once I receive some future funds.

It has been a very soft launch, still to launch on windows, Playstation, Vive, daydream. Then there is opening content to the rest of the world other than the current UK and US accessibility. First live concerts to be announced yet to come and also the additional interactive content and general content for hundreds of artists for higher end headsets. Hard to list everything still to come but I certainly expect to see retrenchment until these sort of news worthy additions to the platform are announced. How far it retraces is anyone guess and not one I will be trying to make myself.

The technology is there, they would have to create full 3D modelled environments just like games but to produce realistic renders of everything to represent historical footage would require some huge computing power that is beyond consumer price points which would then render the time and monetary investment into producing the content at this stage in the VR and computing tech life cycle pointless. What you are asking for has every potential in the future to appear but not for a long time yet. We will get there eventual though.

Ah no need to be like that Wheelman, there is clearly a division of expectation here, the ones with a belief for the technology and the long term potential hence the LTH's and the ones that are more bothered about the current daily price each and every coming day. That is enough to separate opinion and will continue to divide people until each person cashes out and disappears off here.

Good point mycool, this is also evident in some of the comments on social media that were delighted they could re-visit an event that they had even attended in person and partially re-live some of their greatest experiences.

Just to put in to perspective of what percentage of the worlds population could attend to see a top artist in the UK World population : approx 7.5+ billion UK seated stadium capacity: lets say 100K (on the large side) The leaves at anyone one event the possibility of approx 0.001% of the world population to actually physically attend!!! let alone all the other barriers that will stop a majority of that population ever attending. VR gives the entire population that cannot physically attend let alone fighting for a ticket to have a close enough experience to being there. I'm not saying everyone will own a headset but I am trying to show the large picture here of VR's possibilities and when you consider those numbers VR has plenty of future potential and not just in music! You cannot ignore the POTENTIAL here hence some of the worlds largest companies investing billions into the technology. This also opens open huge revenue potentials to artists that would never ever had the chance to receive should VR not have entered the consumer grade space, and they themselves will not ignore this!

Haha Jimmy no I certainly wasn't suggesting that! Sorry if it came across that way, I would actually agree with your wife that some of the content wasn't as clear as I was expecting however I'm having internet issues at the moment so considering the content is streamed it was probably dropping in quality due to my speed, this is why we need a download option!

Being in the same room is OBVIOUSLY the first choice for any experience, first hand experiences will always be number one over technology. Its a given and I don't think anyone is naive enough to believe otherwise even myself, someone that is slightly VR obsessed. VR is not a technology to REPLACE first hand experiences, I don't know anyone in the space that has ever claimed that either. It simply gives you access to places/experinces you may not be fortunate enough to ever see or ones in a world that dose not even exist. MelodyVR's content is the best solution for music fans should you be unfortunate that you 1. cannot get a ticket (For top artists millions apply for tickets for less than 100k seated arenas) 2. live in a different country 3. Not wealthy enough to see your favourite artist 4. have a disability not allowing you to see them etc etc the list goes on. So many people miss the point of VR, its a generation thing, kids are growing up with the tech now and its starting to be used in schools and they are only going to be exposed to it more and more. Plenty of people thought the iPhone would die, loads of articles online of top industry experts bashing the tech. Look where we are today, nearly everyone that has a mobile has some form of smart phone. If Melody can survive the ups and downs of VR over these early consumer years then they should come out on top, its going to be a while though.
