DRB83, simply put I have very little confidence in the present government’s planning and strategic thinking to cope with a surge as we are experiencing right now. Lot of spin, wishful thinking not realising how businesses will be impacted by not providing support and proper planning. The list is endless hence the ‘tsunami’ so to hell with it let us enjoy Christmas parties and worry later. No easy solution but with the backdrop of sleaze, not wearing masks, school kids and teachers unprotected plus health and social care issues it is difficult not be cynical about anything BJ utters. He could put the DHSC issue to rights quite easily with one WhatsApp message! :-)

Kaeren et al, Boris needs to be pulled out of the pile of steaming dung he has got himself into, so he could help his cause if he lets NCYT deliver the range of products that would assist during this crisis. DA clearly is not interested in RNSs, perhaps the video is as much as he is willing to serve up apart from a few tweets. Perhaps a scale up manufacturing is under way to deliver the vast number of tests required (LFT and PCR) to avoid lockdowns. Hopefully the DHSC dispute is resolved and any contract is cash up front. Can’t trust those in charge. Feels like we are on the cusp!

And why have they not been testing for antibody levels. World best vaccine rollout and then it was go forth and procreate! NCYT has a test for this?!!! They needed to be proactive! But that doesn’t fit well with a gung-ho persona. This is a great read from Hisham Ziauddeen. NCYT will do very well this week and beyond, I just want to have a fighting chance of making sure my family have a decent life and future. The arrogance displayed by current crop of greedy politicians feathering their own nests, ignoring the science and if anything making the scientists complicit in their misguided policies. Speak out of turn and see how far your career progresses.
