SR is right PJohn - you massively over-stepped the mark. You were upset in-turn because ODR had been ridiculously rude and condescending to you. Both guilty I’m afraid.

I wonder if we’ll hear from JJCarter or B-2-0? If we do, it may well tell us who’s camp they are in: ZM or SN.

We first found out that ZM had gone via JJCarter’s post around 1st September and interestingly in his last post, B-2-0 claimed that ZM had resigned, rather than what we now think we know that he had been removed.

You maybe right Phil that we are now completely aligned with SN and not ZM, and that ZM being completely sidelined was part of the deal. The timing of this move is interesting: has ZM been threatening to pull the trigger for a while now, hoping to apply pressure in the run up to the deal, but has been ignored because SN and co believe they have a water tight case.

Was the alleged criminality re the payments to him and his son the real problem: who was the real guilty party? I don’t think we’ll ever know.

Everything seemed to be lining up, with the return of Dustin, etc and now this. I feel I’m grasping at straws at the moment , but that’s all I have. It’s not lost, but I’m feeling less comfortable than I was a few hours ago.

I agree Looed. Just when I started to get a little bit hopeful, this happens. Hard to see where ZM being upset with any potential future settlement will end well for us little shareholders. All the talk was that SN would want to protect the family name seem completely wrong if this is all true. Very bleak.

I agree Rainbow. There’s a lot of people working at this restructuring - unlikely to be happening if it’s all only worth a bit of small change. Fingers crossed, we will eventually get the result we’ve been hoping for.

Haven’t posted for a while but still following LSE where the team of sleuths is still hard at it.

An interesting 24 hours – so a quick summary for those still checking in. The FRR US Board is now SN, LG, together with Dustin Aro and Tyler Nelson (Cornerstone). It would appear that these directors are also on the board of Frontera Resources Georgia. It looks like Dustin joined on 14th December – Tyler Nelson possibly earlier.

Also evidence that Directors - SN, Tyler Nelson and Luis Giusiti met by Telephone conference and resolved to ‘release’ Zaza as Director of FRUS on December 14, 2020.

Also that a Georgian based Power of Attorney is in place - Kakha Sharabidze of BLB (BLB Legal Services is “a full-scale law firm uniting lawyers with extensive knowledge and outstanding cross-border experience. So on it goes. Quick conclusion:

Zaza out of it for real – probably in the interests of expediency. Mutual or forced? Whatever - he remains a major shareholder
Nelson and Aro will surely only have joined if there is some potential for progress.
Clearly there is something afoot – which probably links to the Taylor English messaging and Bruce L. They will want our vote at some point
Will shareholders benefit? Depends on how you look at it. As someone who has 100% written this off any return would be a plus
There will be a stack of political manoeuvring behind all of this – but the appointment of Dustin is all about Operations in Georgia
My book will now be even longer.

So has Dustin Aro returned? If true, that sounds incredibly positive!

PJOHN - it may be further evidence that a negotiated settlement is being sought, but we have so many gaps in our knowledge that it is hard to tell one way or the other. Fingers crossed it is good news for shareholders.

Thanks Earsbern for the California update. Aurora1 may well be right, but this may also be evidence that both sides want to push the can further down the road whilst they continue to work out a mutually-beneficial settlement.
Oopsi - is it possible that this is a mechanism that still gives both sides opportunity in due course to continue with the case, but in the meantime upsets neither Hope or FRR? An appearance in front of the court might ensure that one or both sides are forced to reveal their hand: this might remove the possibility (for the time-being at least) that one or both sides will say or do something in court that prevents a settlement in the future. After all, many have postulated on this BB for a while now that FRR must have had something on Hope to have made so many seemingly unproven claims....

No Taran - there’s still hope. Come back in a few months.

A year ago today, just after midnight, we got a really upbeat message from B-2-0. Maybe we’ll get another one tonight....
