ODR - I understand you have more or less given up on FRR. Quite why however you still feel the need to slap the rest of us down for what little enthusiasm still remains is beyond me. Is it your way of coming to terms with the grief that you are feeling? I don't know. For quite a while you have tended to work as part of SR's tag-team (until Looed took over that role during the "what do you think about me contacting a journalist" debacle!), although you clearly are aligned with us shareholders given your undoubted positive comments on other occasions.
Some of us still believe - whether this proves to be borne out of delusion, desperation, fantasy or a higher sense of intelligence remains to be seen. I certainly still live in hope. And I'd be grateful if you didn't pour scorn on that hope at every opportunity....

Likewise erazzel - well done. As for the rest of us, here's hoping that it is the quiet before the storm. I've lost count of the numerous companies I could/should have invested in, if only my money hadn't been tied up in FRR. It would be nice if it all became worth the wait.
And regarding the wait, we last had a message from B-2-0 a couple of weeks ago, asking us all to be patient. I know B-2-0 sometimes posts quite late, so if he is reading at this time, please try to throw us a little snippet of news: not too much if it might damage our chances of a deal, but perhaps enough to raise the spirits of us all.

So is the real reason for the delays that have appeared now in the Texas court because a deal is really close? ZM and SN don’t want to hand over any shares, because they know how much they will soon be worth. They’d rather clinch a deal and pay outrider/SH and others off after the event. The court case would therefore be about us slowing things down and SH trying to push things forward.
Perhaps we need to start looking out for a little red FRR dot again. Or perhaps a little red Exxon dot...

Remember also that posters recently found Zaza on the Georgian Facebook, but he blocked them. This was since the time that he was removed as CEO. This tells us that either he’s signed an NDA, or he is still involved and still wants a deal to go ahead unhindered. Careless talk costs lives (or mega deals) and all that.....

There was only one post from J.J.Carter regarding Zara’s dismissal and it was either the 3rd or 4th September, given the date of MP’s post.

So was this the real reason why SR and others wanted to send a letter to journalists in Georgia? They also knew that Zaza had gone, knew it was good for shareholders and tried desperately to throw a spanner in the works?

It was a very short message that later got deleted. It mirrored his earlier posts that started “you may find this interesting”. It said that Zaza had been removed from his CEO role for the company and all other roles. It hinted that this was a positive.
Does anyone remember any other details?

IMO, if Zaza had walked because we’d lost everything, then he’d have already said something to someone publicly: we’d know it was all over. So he’s left in the knowledge that a deal is being struck - his presence was a distraction which the GG IMO couldn’t stomach. And fairly soon we’ll find out how we all fit into this endgame.

To me this looks like Zaza has been moved aside so that negotiations can take place. Deal in the making?

My vote would be to wait. I still think that Looed wants to have the blessing of the BB, and that’s why I think R8’s argument regarding Looed’s personal preference to send or not to send, although technically true, is not particularly relevant. If he gets the BB’s approval it then carries more weight in the Georgian press. If he doesn’t, then he’s a lone voice.
And I still think that there is an agenda here, and one that is not in our best interests; definitely from SR and possibly even from Looed. Just imo.

I’m starting to doubt Looed’s motives. I think he always wanted to engage the press, but wanted the legitimacy of the backing of this BB. First time, re the arbitration, he was asked not to. But if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. IMO something isn’t right here.

So much for a debate Looed about what to do. Looks like you had already made up your mind and ignored all those who suggested to wait. Well done...

I agree with you both to a certain extent; my comment was said only tongue in cheek. However, unlike many who dismiss them both, they seem to know more than the rest of us put together, and if they are genuine, if would be good to hear from them again. Just my rather desperate thoughts....

An update from B-2-0 or JJ Carter would quieten all this dissent from the troops....

My view is that we should wait until after the election.
